Training rant

#112280 Posted on 2017-07-01 21:33:01

I'm not going to lie. I HATE training. It is my most dreaded task when it comes to caring for my horses. Maybe that just means I have to many. Maybe I'm just lazy. I just know I hate having to stare at the screen and make sure I get the right level and discipline in the right arena. It takes for ever!! Not only that but I hate how much it bothers me when I zone out for a moment and then realize I just entered a N5 Western horse in a Novice Endurance arena. I know its really not that big of a deal but it drives me insane.

*end of my midnight insomnia induced rant*

Doh! I feel your pain, at least a little bit. I have a similar problem with Riding Schools at the moment. And trying to make sure I don't accidentally put the wrong ones in the wrong school.

Thankfully I show most of mine and try to avoid riding schools for just that reason. I don't think I could deal with that hassle twice in a day.

I try to mitigate the problem by locking divisions as I'm doing it. (But I only have one division with mixed disciplines and only one of those really matters [as the others will be converted later on].)

Ohh I hadn't thought of that. I will have to try that tomorrow and see if it helps. It wouldn't be such a pain in the butt if I didn't have three different breeds in three different disciplines and a nasty habit of picking up random pretty project horses in the RC.

Yeah, I tend to put all of each discipline (normally all the same breed too) into its own division. That way it's a LITTLE easier, but I have to remember not to get too click-happy.
