Reminders/Notifications

#111218 Posted on 2017-06-25 12:21:23

I used the keyword search in the suggestions board to see if this had already been suggested but I didn't see anything, so I apologize in advance if this has already been suggested.

Anyway,

I would find it beyond helpful if we could create our own little reminders and set a certain date and time we want them to go off or get a notification for.

In example, I am currently feeding my Clydes red apples to focus on gaining strength stats, but I don't want to have 200 in strength and like, 50 in endurance, so it would be nice if I could set a reminder for the future that will remind me to switch their assigned treats to turnips.

I'm horrible at putting my thoughts into words so I apologize if this is confusing, but you should be able to get the general idea? It's like setting a reminder in your phone. You write what the reminder is for, pick a time and date for it to go off, and then you're done.

this could be added in to pop up as a notification through the message system (like when you get sent something or a bid gets accepted)

Or another idea is maybe have it through the journal, you can write down what all it is you want then set a date for it to notify you. On the day the notification was set the my journal link could turn red just like how the my activity link does, and the journal page the notification was linked to would be marked (red exclamation point?).  That way you could put more than just a couple words into the "reminder"

Either way reminders would be helpful

Both of those ideas are a good way to implement this.
