Just letting you know, asking for RL advice on this sort of thing is against EV Terms and Conditions ^^

"Please DO NOT use the forums for advice in real life. This pertains to advice about personal issues, veterinary or other medical issues, or psychiatric issues. It is extremely unlikely that anyone on the game is a qualified professional and any advice given by members of Equiverse may actually be more harmful. Please seek professional help in these cases."

But, I hope you can get your pony to stop acting this way. It sounds frustrating! My horse would act that way sometimes because he gets herd sour. Perhaps that is the same as what your pony is going through

i'm only going to say that until your issue with your pony is fixed, you probably shouldn't ride him out alone. there isn't always going to be someone nearby to help if he freaks out again.

I recommend not riding alone if its to the point of feeling that uncomfortable. Ask a trainer for advice, not the forums.
