Tell me about your horse!!

Tell me about your horse! It doesn't have to be owned by you; if you don't own a horse, tell me about your favorite one to lesson on!

I'll start the thread off.
My horse's name is Alfie. He's a registered chestnut Arabian gelding. He's tiny at 14.3 3/4 hands, but he makes up for it in character! I'm training him in jumper, low level gymkhana activities, and trail riding. I have owned Alfman since September 28th. We've had our ups and downs (mostly ups) and he gets better by the day!

Now it's your turn! Tell me about your horse(s)! Pictures are highly appreciated!

Here's my little dude xD

Well I don't have a horse but I used to live near a person (they moved) who had a pretty little QH mare and I would go over there all the time and pet her and I never got to ride her before they moved :(.. We bonded in a weird way I miss her so much. Can I see pictures of your horse??

The main mare I ride is a pony named Angel, a 14.2hh grey Quarter pony. A sweet little thing under-saddle but a jerk to the others out in the field. She's a wonderful jumper with quite a bit of speed.

Angel 2

I also ride an OTTB gelding named Tailor who is 16.2hh. I've ridden him since he came off the track at the end of January. He's a complete sweetheart and a very handsome grey (I'm a sucker for greys). For the most part I went back to riding Angel since Tailor only does cross-rails so far and I'm wanting to go back to showing but I still ride him once in a while.

Oh wow! It's bitter sweet when horses move away - they're most likely going to a better home, and you miss them so much! The horse sounds really cute.

XD I'm a sucker for chestnuts. My friend is looking for her 2nd horse, and I'm like,"Oh hey, is that a chestnut? You should look into him..." Ahhh good times lol.

Mitten is an old, dark bay TB who used to do eventing. Now he's a lesson horse and I've been able to try a lot of things I've learned in other lessons on him.

Jupiter is a fat quarter horse who can do stops (sliding stops without the sliding).

Winston is a claustrophobic, small, bay, quarter horse who's 17, but looks and acts 10.

Shooter is a 15hh grey thing with an attitude. He likes to do with weird thing where when he's REALLY mad, he'll kick out and his entire body twists and when he did that to me, I went flying.

Jazzy is a small, bay pinto mare with a nerved tail (where the nerves on the side of the tail are cut so the tail doesn't move and now she pees on her tail) whom I'm taking lessons on to help train her.

This kinda turned into my favorite horses/the ones I take lessons on.

I haven't owned horses for a while now and I miss it so much! But when I did here is what I had:

When I was 8 years old I received my 1st horse for my birthday. Her name was BELLE and she was a super cute 15hh bay Quarter Horse mare with a blaze and four white socks. She was unfortunately my least favorite of the horses I have ever owned and worked with. She was just a moody grouch all of the time and we hated each other lol! I have since learned I'm not really a "mare person"... I definitely prefer geldings.

After her I took an almost 7 year hiatus from horses...

Then I had a 15.3hh fleebitten grey Polish Arabian gelding named HAJII (Hajiilima Al Surf) and he was my favorite! He was considered out of my riding experience and it was recommended I look at others, but something about him kept me coming back. We clicked right away and even though he was a bit high strung he was so patient and taught me a lot of what I needed to become a good rider. I ended up selling him because I thought after 5 years I needed something that was taller and could jump higher. I still to this day regret that decision even though he went to an amazing family. I miss him so much.

My last horse was NOBLE (Noble Kreshendoe) a very handsome 16.2hh Trakehner chestnut gelding. He had that gorgeous Olympic jumper look to him... a stripe, snip, two back socks. Just lovely! He had the smoothest canter I have ever ridden and the roughest trot lol. Beautiful mover though. Everything about him was perfect except our bond. It was just blah and we basically just worked together. He was a total sweetheart, but the chemistry I had with Haji just wasn't there and it was so disappointing. I ended up donating him to the equestrian center I worked with because he had stifle issues and the vetting cost was becoming too much.

Here are some pictures of Hajii & Noble but I'm old and Belle was pre-digital lol

I've never owned a horse but I ride stable horses. Currently, I'm riding Stanley (Stan) a chestnut and white Cob who stands at around 14.2hh. He's very sensitive and you have to be careful of how much pressure you apply because otherwise you might risk him going off at a trot (or faster, if you're unlucky). Stan is a very forward horse and responsive, as well. Which is good in some ways, I suppose!
I have ridden a lot of other horses. Everything from a Shetland through to Thoroughbreds, and everything in between. Mares and geldings alike. Bays, chestnuts, blacks, greys and coloured. Everything, pretty much. Never ridden a horse taller than 15.1hh though because I'm so short x3

My baby boy is named Remi. He is a 7 year old 16.2hh OTTB. He's a bay with a big heart. I was the first person to get on him who wasn't a jockey. He knows absolutely nothing right now. At the moment, we are working on bending and relaxing at the walk and trot. We probably won't even work the canter for another month, until he is capable of being relaxed and not letting his quick racing brain take over. We are hoping to train him for show jumping, he definitely has the potential based on his free jumping. He also has potential for eventing, but as a rider, my heart is with show jumping. He has the tiniest bit white on his hind right leg, literally a half inch high above his hoof. He has has a "star". You have to look really closely to see it since you could probably count the white hairs with the naked eye, it's so small. He's my first "forever" horse. I've ridden my whole life (I turn 16 in August) but haven't ridden one horse for over three years. We tend to sell them after they're trained, I outgrow them, or someone who would learn more than I would starts riding them. When I first started riding, I rode a mini named Cochise. Since then I've ridden: Zues, Dakota, Wunder, Flash, Romo, Ottis, Bogie, Cyrus, Parnell, and Champ.

I have a picture but don't know how to upload it so if you want to see him tell me how to and I'll put it up...

This is my Gypsy Vanner Primrose, I don't own her but I have a full lease on her! She turns 8 this year. Out of the two horses I have she's definitely the more energetic and spirited one. She has on/off days where she'll listen perfectly or won't listen at all lol. But recently she's been doing very good! I rode her today and she was just perfect. She likes to trot, unlike Bubba (Other horse) who likes to walk. She can do jumps, I haven't really done too much of it with her though. I'm working with my coach right now to do more though! Here are two pictures of her from today:

And while we rode around:
