Starting till now.

I'm curious to see how much people have improved. I'd love to see their beginning attempts at art, and compare them to their current attempts. To start, I'll post one of mine

I don't have any beginning ones to show you, because when I first started, I didn't know that random pictures from google could not be reference pictures. Hence, copyrights and stuff.

Around the Middle

Current, but not my lines (one of my current sales, yes, sorry. It was one of the best examples I have, especially given I did the addons)

I don't have any current pictures of my lineart, becouse frankly, I'm bad at it.

Oh dear, 4.5 years of digital art. Let's see the improvement, shall we.
I'll list what age I was and the year.
I do several different styles.



So...first
Pixel shading (Only been doing it for 3 or so years. If that long)
2014, first ever pixel: age 16 . My lines and ref too.
2015, age 17 . Using free lines, everything else by me. I did draw all the add ons (including wings), though too, and flip the horse upside down. It was bucking before. Character owned by someone offsite.
2016. Age 18 . Free lines, everything else by me.
2017. Age 18 . All art by me, the reference is a stock photo.
2017. age 18 All art by me, including references.

okey so that was like a good 3 nearly 4 years ago lets get onto some of my later stuff. (cause i think it was around 2 nearly 3 years ago i left ev and didn't art at all. and then i joined last year around august time.)

fyi, you might suffer from momentary blindness due to the utter cringiness

@altair - omg!!!!! i made the lineart and cape for this!!! i so remember that from so long ago

Don't like its face but kinda proud with mane and tail shading

I have stuff from when I was a child, but I'll just skip to the first time I shaded a horse. Made in 2006. Ew look at that strange head :

First lineart, I believe it was made in microsoft paint. Think I went a little overboard on the mane haha
