I hope for red dun frame splash for Blue Eyed Beauty and Mark The Moon since it's the least common and has 2 markings

gold cream champagne dun sabino for Red Lady and Dwelling the Eclipse because it's the least common and has the most modifiers

Red Lady's foal comes tomorrow! I will put a link at the bottom of the page for you guys to see it when it's born. I think my favorite name is Red Eclipse. I like mixing foal's parents' names.

Little bit late, but...

@Raptorfang
Any horse with at least one dominant gray allele will turn gray. They do carry non-gray, which means that there is a chance of them producing gray or non-gray offspring. GG and Gg will both turn gray. gg will not.

Hi!!! I just bought two pregnant Welsh Pony mares. The sire is black and the mares are bay so I'm guessing the foals will be either bay or black too.

I want to clarify something that I've been having trouble with the most. The freaking Moreno color

It took me forever to finally figure out why I didn't have moreno horses, but I realized it's because the guide is a little misleading. For moreno it lists E_At_CrCr as the genotype. However, the second allele on the agouti gene does matter and should not have an underscore placement there. Moreno will only work if the second allele on the agouti gene is recessive(Ata) or another brown (AtAt). Otherwise you just get a perlino, because the bay gene is more dominant to brown. Right?

Timberbrooke, that's correct. A dominant agouti gene (A) will mask brown (At)

I don't think there's any 'fatal' genes in this game. FF is the flaxen gene and it means that flaxen isn't present.

Okay. I got confused on it as FlFl I thought was flaxen not FF. Thank you for helping to clear that up! :)

Timberbrook, you will notice that whenever a gene is notated, that it is always a more recessive allele on the right hand side of the pair (except in genes where there are alleles that are neither dominant nor recessive to each other, such as KIT mutations). So when the guide says A_ it means A and any agouti allele equal to or recessive to A, and At_ is At and any agouti allele equal to or recessive to At. A+ and At doen't really exist anyway, so in real life that point would be moot.

Do these have any affect on markings, specifically markings on the head? I am wanting to breed two Clydesdales that are both black, the only difference in genes is he is Ee aa and she is EE aa. He has a star and she doesn't. Are markings like stars luck of the draw or can they be bred to show up?

I did read the guide and I am trying to follow along but most of it is beyond me.

Thanks for your help.
