MBTI, Anyone?

#140098 Posted on 2018-01-10 16:57:32

My friend first told me about the MBTI personality types. Curious if anyone else knows about them. If someone can explain what it is to those who don't know, feel free. I have no idea how to really explain it. xD

If you know about MBTI, what's your type? :>

I'm not sure about the fifth letter, as that seems to often be left off, but I know I'm an ENFP.

@North - hello fellow INFJ! lol

@Coffee Queen - That's what I thought when I first found out my type! I read a little bit more into it and some things don't exactly match up, but that's because everyone's different. Could also be because I'm an ambivert (slightly more introverted) c:

@Everyone - My INTP friend told me to tell you all she said hi xD

I'm an INFJ-T. The Big Five personality test is generally regarded as much more accurate, though. The Myers-Briggs is general enough so that almost everyone can find something that matches their personality when they view any of the traits. Or, if not any of them, then at least several of them. It's fun to know your type, though!

I believe the big five is the same as OCEAN, which is ratings on your degrees of Openness, Conscientiousness, Extroversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism.

ENFP, not sure what the 5th letter means but mine said ENFP (-A/-T)

most of it is really really accurate, except I'm not necessarily popular and don't have loads of friends, but then I also have social anxiety due to how I've been treated by people in the past.

INTJ/INFJ, right on the line between T and F
Supposedly pretty rare but I don't believe it :P
Idk what the 5th letter people are using is o.O unless you guys are also on the line and putting the corresponding letter?
I don't think the test is super accurate as depending on what I'm going through in the moment my test results can vary pretty wildly xD

^ the fifth letter stands for Assertive/Turbulent, though I haven't looked much into why it's not used very often

I've taken the Big Five test. Apparently I'm high in Openness, high in Conscientiousness, low in Extroversion, low in Agreeableness, and high in Neuroticism.
