HELLO! Welcome to the Shetland Pony Club Forum post! My name is Sabriel and I'll be your President again, and again and again and again and again.

Shetland Pony Club Basics
Let's do the thing!

Registration
Must be Shetlands, any discipline accepted
0-6 year olds: 150 stats
7-12 year olds: 225 stats
13-18 year olds: 300 stats
19+ year olds: 400 stats
Conformation not currently taken into account
*Registered Horses will appear in the Sale Book if they are listed for public sale or bid only sale.

Our qualifications are achievable for horses that are trained daily and earn at least one stat per day via any other method so that even those just starting out can begin with the Shetland Pony Club! If you feel this should be changed please post or message me with your valid reasoning.

Stud Book
Must be Registered with the club
3-8 year olds: 250 stats
9-12 year olds: 350 stats
13-16 year olds: 450 stats
17-20 year olds: 550 stats
Conformation must be above 40 overall.
*Ponies will only show up in the book if you have them currently for stud. Put them for Private Stud for them to be seen here.

Player Recording
We want to make the Shetland club a network of members who breed Shetlands!
-Must have at least one pair of Shetland Ponies
-Message or post here or in the club chat with your name player number and the disciplines of your Shetlands


Club Mega Shows!
Our Club Megashows will hopefully be scheduled to run on Fridays!
It's at $20 for an entry fee.

Contests!
Club Championship Contest - More information
I was contacted by Danzy007 to see if we were interested in joining the Club Championship contest. It seems to basically revolve around horse points gained over the month of July. I'd be happy to participate and would gladly donate the entry fee from my own money in order for us to participate, but I'd like for it to be more than just me if we decide to go ahead. If you're interested in this contest and joining with a Shetland please let me know through the club chat, messages or this post. We've officially joined as a club, please go to the topic linked above and post your Pony. The only requirement is that it is registered with the club, but since it's a points contest it's best if your pony does shows and not riding school.

Celebration!
As many of you know the SPC has always been one of the smallest clubs on EV, but as of this week we've officially made it to the triple digits! We've got 100 members finally in our little club and while not everyone is active or even has Shetlands I'm so proud of us for making it here after so long!

In celebration of this long hard climb I would like to send 10k to every active member that has 2 or more Shetland ponies. Please message me, post in the club chat or on this forum post to let me know you're active!

In addition to the 10k, any member with 2 or more Shetland ponies is eligible to receive one of my favorite little Shetland tags recolored for one of their characters, please send me a link/url to your reference and any text you'd like on the tag. Sorry no add-ons for this one.

Shetland Specials!

Starting with Shetlands!
See our club page for information about out Starting with Shetlands Program! You can get a startup bundle of treats, tack feed and show money just for having Shetlands! It doesn't matter when you've purchased your Shetlands or if you're already in the breed, if you want a bit of help to get two ponies started we're here and ready with a starter kit!

Shetland Swag*
As members of the Shetland club with Shetland ponies you're entitled to receive an awesome tag! There is of course a catch, You must have two Shetland ponies over 250 stats. Super easy right? Well if you have two Shetlands over 550 stats, you can have a second recolor free!

*accepting up to two club members with qualifying ponies to have access to the base in order to recolor for other club members.

Other Information

Guess what guys! Shetlands have grown in number since the game opened go us!  At the beginning of the March term total Shetland Numbers were at about 777 ponies*, now we're over 2850 Ponies*! Our highest ponies are still only at Regional Three but I have faith we'll be into the National Rankings in no time with all these amazing breeders We've gone up to national ranks! Congrats to all the great breeders improving our awesome breed.
*Numbers calculated via looking up ponies in Horse Search, locked horses are included.

And what do I need doing for the player contest?

Yes you can enter via this thread! As long as your horse meets the requirements for the contest(is registered, though we seem to have a delay on registrations at the moment as Abbey is still working on them.)

The Player is just nominations, so you can nominate whoever you want for that!

I'll enter with Special Key my own bred beauty.

And I will nominate Hoofie :)

Are there some more breeders still loving this breed?

My current Line is into 300 stats, all Foundations!
And i have a second colour line for my flaxen horses!

How are you guys doing? ^^

I have 2 Shetland ponies with over 250 stats so may I have a tag?

Ducky2, I'm happy to get you a tag! just let me know what character or color horse you'd like in it and I'll get to it as soon as possible!

What kind of Tag do you get when you have a couple of Shetlands?
