I have to wonder if this is somehow related to mares not 'resetting' properly when it comes to breeding. Over the past month or so I've had to buy the breeding bypass item four separate times in order to breed mares that didn't 'count down' properly, if that makes sense. That is, mares that should have been able to be bred were sitting at 'bred 6 days ago' rather than 7. I posted this elsewhere the first time it happened, but now I'm not sure where. Keep an eye on your mares and see if they count down properly.

I'm having a related problem where my mare is not counting down properly. Yesterday was "Foal will be born in 5 days" and today that countdown has not changed.

I'm having a related problem where my mare is not counting down properly. Yesterday was "Foal will be born in 5 days" and today that countdown has not changed. Similar problem here. All my mares aren't counting down properly and (those who have had their foals) still say that they're pregnant. EDIT: I just bred one of my mares who was eligible to breed again (7 days since last bred) and the message changed to "She will give birth in 5 days.". So in my case they're still breed-able. Hope this helps a bit :D Last edited on 2017-07-10 at 16:37:06 by AlphaDelta

I feel better that in not the only one. Received my foals today but mares are still showing they are pregnant.

A little update and because I was in a mood to experiment today, I used a gestation rush on this Mare who was effected by this bug and it fixed it, another foal was not born... it just reset her... I think. *shrugs*

Same happened to my mares today; all gave birth to their foals, but are still marked as pregnant, with the message saying they will give birth in three days. It does properly say they were bred 5 days ago. It's not a huge deal to me from a re-breeding perspective, since they're all retired now, but still not working properly. (And it makes me nervous for when I DO have horses that I plan to breed more than once.)

Only The Wind: I've bred mares that have been affected by this bug just fine, so I wouldn't worry too much. As long as your last bred counter is still going up they're still breedable. It's more of a display issue than an issue that actually affects breeding.

this bug has been interfering with training, however. one of my mares has come out of it, but the other is still untrainable.

I am having this issue also, and based on this thread it looks like it's game-wide. Mine cannot be trained, like others have mentioned. I haven't had the breeding reset issue since the first time it happened, though.

Maple: good to know that it's mainly a display issue and won't impact breedability! Although it is a bit frustrating they can't be trained, that's not quite so bad to my mind as if they were stuck in can't-be-bred limbo. Still, I do hope it's fixed one way or another.

This is happening to me, too. My mares that are thought of as "still pregnant" are untrainable as well :( Although they seem to be able to enter shows?
