Requirements for riding schools and shows

Hello! I'm pretty new at this game and wondered what are requirements for horses to be able to show or ride in schools. All foundie horses can do it, but when I try to do it with rescues, they cannot. Are resques unable to show/do school? Or is there some cooldown?

A horse can only be submitted to 10 hours of riding school or entered in 10 shows (you can also do a mix of both) each day, so the previous owner of the rescue horses had most likely entered them in shows or submitted them to riding school before they put them in the Rescue Center. Tomorrow, you should be able to show them and put them in Riding School.

DJ Hoofbeats is right that it's likely they just already had their 10 school/show slots used up for the day by their previous owners.

Also make sure your horses are up to date on their vet and farrier, and that they're boarded in a stable. :)

If tomorrow you find that a horse you rescued still doesn't show up to be ridden in a school/shown, you can also double check that the horse doesn't basically have "pending" hours in a school that need to be completed. If you visit the horse's page and there's a green banner above its picture that says "This horse is currently working at a riding school" you can click to visit the riding school so that you can complete its hours.
