Run shows 24 hours after they're made

Would it be possible to change the show system so that instead of shows opening for entry in several days, then running 24 hours after that (the current system) could we instead make it possible to enter shows as soon as they're made, then have them run 24 hours later. They'd be open for the same amount of time as the current system, just open sooner. This would have the affect of addressing any lack of shows immediately, and may also reduce the impact of running shows on the server, which could speed things up.

Maybe also have shows run once they're full or after 24 hours, whichever is soonest.

Also, if shows run as soon as they're full, and are therefore no longer included in the list of shows to run, then it'll be more obvious where more shows are needed.

110% support! I've hd several gorses that had to wait 3 days to enter shows even though people had made some the first day I looked. Very frustrating & those horses aren't gaining stats at all.

No one would get any time to enter them! That's why I disagree. Sorry! But I do agree with the idea that shows run when they are full.

Lucy, Kuk is correct. Under the current system we get 24 hours to enter a show, and I am not suggesting a change to this. All I am proposing is a removal (or reduction?) of the delay between when a show is created and when it opens to entries.
