Let's say you have a horse that is grade: novice 3 or 4 with a few training levels as well. If the specialty is converted does it have any effect on the grade or training level? Or does it only effect the point distributions? I wouldn't want to lose grades or levels.... Thanks :)

It'll only effect the stat distribution, everything else shouldn't be changed.
