A Pride Is Forever - TLK Inspired Lion RP - SU's

This roleplay is inspired by The Lion King by Disney. Certain aspects of it will stay the same,other will be completely different. Please keep in mind that alll the characters in every series of TLK, including Disney Juniors The Lion Guard are long dead. No characters are directly or even somewhat closely related to any of the original characters unless you PM me with your character form for me to approve it, or any lion born into royalty (you must also PM me for this as well). Thank you!

Basic Plot -

After the death of Queen Kiara, King Kovu, and Prince Kion in the terrible hunting accident, the whole Pride went downhill. There was no one to be leader. All but one of Kiara and Kovu's young cubs was killed, and the one who was still alive had no idea she was to be the Queen, or that she was even the daughter of the King and Queen. Being so young, she had barley opened her eyes before.

Once the young princess, named Sarabi after her great grandmother. Eventually life began to regrow. But life was never the same.

Now, several generations later, the newest Queen, and a very young one at that, by the name of Nzuri, is striving to recreate the kingdom of the Pridelands that once was. But she is finding it hard when most of the lions in her pride are more interested in using her to become the King so they can have a free chance at cubs and taking part in the next generation.

But every time she gets even close to thinking she is starting to change things, its all ruined.

On top of that, she is almost four, and knows she needs a King soon, and she knows that the lions of her pride are aware of this fact.

Nzuri is good at over coming obstacles, but the ones she starts to face are bigger than ever before.

Rules -

➔ Please please please be literate and detailed. 3+ sentences per character per post. You will received one warning, before you will be kicked from the roleplay.
....a.While I expect everyone to be detailed, descriptive, literate, etc, I don't want to read about gore and everything. That is unneeded.
➔ Please be active. I understand we all have lives, and aren't roleplay robots who sit at a computer all day, but please try to post at least once a day, and if you know you won't be online to post for a few days, please forewarn me.
....a. If you are gone for a long period of time without an explanation you will be kicked.
➔ I love original, unique characters that are unlike anyone else's. I understand there is lots of people who think similarly when it comes to creating characters, I have encountered that problem before, but I don't want a bunch of characters who are exactly alike.
➔ All names are to be in Swahili and you must know their meaning. You may use google translate for this. The meaning of the name doesn't have to have any relation to the character, so long as it isn't extremely long or incredibly hard to spell.
➔ You do not have to make even genders, you don't even have to make two characters. Infact, I encourage you to make multiple females and no males, as we need males, but we need many more lionesses.
➔ No lion should have a tragic backstory unless they are former loners/rogues, but even then it shouldn't be to dramatic and tragic.
➔ Lions may not be mates or reproduce within the pride unless given permission from the King and Queen.
➔ Have fun!
➔ By signing up you agree to these rules. If you break one you receive a warning. Breaking one or more rules twice will get you kicked from the roleplay depending on severity of the rules broken.

Characters Needed To Start -

We need between 4-7 males, most of them should have interest in becoming Nzuri's king, whether to be king (preferred) or because they truly have feelings for her (unlikely).
We need many females, preferably 7-15 lionesses before we start.
Cubs are not needed to start, and quiet honestly I don't think any are needed for the beginning of the roleplay. Though feel free to make some.

Coat Color; A strong, powerful, regal looking lion with many scars from fighting among the males in the pride for the paw of Queen Nzuri. He is a dark brown with a silvery brown mane, claws that stick out slightly, piercing green eyes that can look right into your soul, and know whether you are sincere, or a fake. His personality is fierce, protective, yet gentle on rare occasions if he decides you are worth protecting. However, with the other males, forget it. He hates the other males, because of his father, always has a nasty sneer on his face whenever he's around them, and tolerates them enough to not be exiled from the pride.
Nose Type; Pink outlander type nose, kinda like Vitani's.

Build Type; Heavily built lion with a deep girth and a very thickly built body.

Personality; Fierce, cruel, always trying to cause trouble among the males, to make it look like they started it if any fights breaks out, and no one is suspicious that he caused the fights to break out in the first place. However, he is very polite to the lionesses, only because he can eat from their kills, and highly respects Queen Nzuri; hoping that he'd be the lion of her choice. The only lioness that he truly loves is his baby sister; Malia.
Crush; Queen Nzuri, as he craves the position of King, and that he feels he'd be the best at protecting her.

History; Born to a tiny pride, consisting of his mother and father, he was an happy cub, as his mother loved him with all her heart, except for his father. His father was cruel, vicious, and often tried to kill him for no reason at all; while his mother protected him from his father's rages, and took the brunt of it. One day, when his father was especially furious at him and his little sister Malia for simply not staying in the den when they were told too; his mother knocked his father down, and told him to take his sister and to hide deep in the grass until his father cooled down. He grabbed 4 month old Malia, ran, and left his mother and father fighting again. However, while running, he accidentally fell into the river, barely held onto Malia, and they never saw their mother or home again. Lost, with a crying cub, Siwata was forced to forget his own grievances to care for his little sister, until they met up with a few Pridelanders. He has lived the life of a rogue for over 2 years, no regards for rules, laws, or anyone, except for his little sister. He swore to protect her with his life to his mother and will never break that promise; which is why he's careful to not get himself exiled out of the pride.

She is a lithe, slender, yet quick, can turn-on-the-dime, and a great asset to any hunting party. She has bright blue eyes, her left ear is all black, which is her birth mark, and extremely smart.

She is missing a chunk of her ear that got tore off from a squabble over food. Aina has a scar on her stomach area from hitting the buffalo's horn while helping take it down for the pride.

JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS, QUEEN NZURI IS 4 AND A HALF YEARS OLD, SHE JUST RECENTLY ACQUIRED THE THRONE, AT ABOUT 3 YEARS OLD. I will try and get her and Utu's form made this morning.

Coat Color; Deep, golden sand pelt that is rather ordinary in the pride, she has darker tan legs that blend nicely into her body. Her ruff around her neck and chest is slightly lighter due to bleaching in the strong sun. She has particularly short fur due to having an excema type of skin condition as a cub.

Personality; Rather stand-offish to most, friendly with a few older lionesses but dislikes many who are immature or manipulating. The only time she really seems happy is out hunting and she is an excellent hunter. Her body type gives her great stamina and her mind is cunning, she likes to have a job to do and not just be suck at the back of an ambush, hopes to become a leading hunter in the future. She has little interest in Nzuri's complicated life being pride Queen and hates the way everyone sucks up to her constantly, but she does have alot of respect for her and would probably be a close and honourable friend to Nzuri if she wasnt involved in Queen duties so much.

@Tiger; You're accepted! And yes, I was planning on having a "lead lioness" who organized hunts, led most hunts, gave out duties in the morning (ie who was to cub sit, who was to lead a hunt somewhere, and who else was to lead a hunt somewhere else), and takes control when Nzuri is away. Asha is a great canidate for that spot, but I will wait a while longer and see what other lionesses we get, so everyone has a chance, ;).

Ok thanks, if there is a better lioness for the spot that's absolutely fine and maybe Asha could be her kind of sidekick.

Coat Color; Nuru's coat color is a dark tan, making him looking almost black within the shade. His paws are a lighter tan then his coat, making it look as if he has two different colors. He has a scar on the left side of his back leg from another male that had gotten him when his back was turned.

He trys to ignore the others and there attempt at being the next king, he acts like he doesn't care for being king but he wouldn't mind that at all. Deep down he wants to be king, but only because he feels he can help bring the pride lands together like it had once been. He can be very patent but he has his limits, he's not one to start fights but he hesitate to stop one.

Coat Color; Creamy gold coat with a brighter golden mane and lighter cream underbelly. He is the picture perfect lion other than a rough scar down his side that he got from a buffalo as a young lion in training but he is quite proud of it.

Build Type; Muscular and fit, not a big bulky lion but very strong. (think Zac Effron in lion form)

Personality; When he was younger he was loud and boisterous, up for anything and always had a bit of jip to give. Now he has matured into a quieter, more serious lion but is still up for any adventure and is always one to tease the lionesses. He's proud of his looks but learnt as a young lion not to be vain after being picked on severly for it. However he does still like to be a showoff around the girls and can be quite flirt, this often gets him into fights with the other males. He grew up in the pride and has seen how many males have joined as Nzuri came of age just to try win her paw therefore he doesnt have a lot of respect for the other males and often acts superior because he feels it's his right as he was born into the pride. But he does have one close male friend. (Anyone like to be Jelani's best friend??)

History; Born into the pride, his mother was Kibwe who was a close friend to Nzuri's mother so Jelani ended up playing with Nzuri quite a lot as a cub, but as they grew up and Jelani realised Nzuri wasn't just any other pup their friendship as cubs fell apart. Jelani has always had a soft spot for Nzuri and feels he must protect her from too many of these marauding males. Now Nzuri is available to take a King now, this feeling is even stronger in him.

@Koda; accepted! But could you please change Zuri's name? This is partly faulty on my end as I haven't had a chance to podt Nzuri and Utu's forms. But Zuri and Nzuri are pronounced the same and are synonyms (zuri meaning beautiful, nzur meaning good, agreeabke, beautiful). But other than that, everything looks great!

@Tiger; Jelani is accepted! If he and Aina are siblings please be sure the have forms changed to say so.

@Cerulean; staying un TLK style, underbelly, paws, under eyes, etc are lighter than the base coat, ;). If you could fix up that then we're all good you'll be accepted!
