Isn't there a way to calculate what the foal's stats could be?

the formula on the old EV, which was (sire stat + dam stat)/4 doesn't hold true for foals born on the recode.

it seems to be somewhere roughly between (sire stat + dam stat)/2.75 and (sire stat + dam stat)/3.25. i believe someone is working the exact formula out still; there's a loooong thread in game discussions about it.
