64 foundies? check!

#85761 Posted on 2017-01-06 13:13:42

i finally did it!
as of today, i've now bought all 64 foundation arabians for my lines.

i started them post-recode and they've been divided into several smaller groups in order to make them easier to handle. One batch of 12 already made it to 20 and have been bred, and i've got 8 17-year-olds, 19 4-year-olds, and 44 0-year-olds. I'm definitely going to be diving those 44 into easier to manage groups as well :p

all are, will be, or have been paired up to improve conformation and none have less than 57 confo to start with. unlike a lot of my horses, these have limited breedings (2 or 3 per pair), in the hopes of keeping these lines less common.

so that's the end of my rambling!

Does anyone else have big huge projects going on?

I have 32 shetlands, a new group of 79 quarter horses (along with a group of 10 and the foals from a group of 20), 16 arabians, 58 minis (which might become 64 or may go down to 32), and 20ish GV. Not to mention my 68 clydes which are locked and my locked reboot project wich has lots o' horses too.

I may, or may not, have horse hoarding issues. ;-; But I love my pixels pons.

Appie Foundie Project

Shetland Foundie Project

These lines are completely closed until I have built them up to a certain point; I plan to build full pedigrees before I even sell or stud them out. This is partially for an experiment, and partially to create my own line. :)

Yaaaaaay!

Yah. 64 Trakehners, the last handful of which are reaching breeding age. I have 16 Shetlands waiting and 16 Minis waiting..
But those are going to be expanded to 32. Also planning on 16-32 Appy and 64 Tekes because I'm cray cray.

I bought a lot of Gypsy Vanner foundations over the course of about a month, and I mean a lot. About 90 actually. So they're all getting to the correct breeding age (which I time so that I get anywhere between two and five foals (I cull, sell, or lock the horses that don't have the colours and/or stats I'm looking for). So yeah, a lot of horse, not much time, and about 10 horse slots until I run out of room :(
