Custom Horse Genotype Question

When creating a custom horse, are genotypes always homozygous (if applicable)? For example.. if I were to create a dun, would it be DD or Dd?

I've been testing things out to answer most of my questions, but I'm not willing to spend 15 credits to test this one out, haha, so I figured I'd just post here.

with the exception of flaxen, all genes i've ever gotten from the Custom Horse Maker have been heterozygous.
