#79653 Posted on 2016-12-12 21:34:11 Hey all! This is your president for the wondrous, magical, mystical, and Christmas month of December!!! Just posted a newsletter about our contests, but here is the information again. :3 -First off, I want to apologize for my absence for the first 12 days of December. I had to finish up my 4 finals at my University + four extra credit quizzes for one class. Man, I was on the computer from 11:45 am (my time) till 11:30 pm, filling out four quizzes with 25 questions apiece, and taking the final. I was so scared, thinking for sure I wouldn't pass that one class, and as such; not graduate in May 2017. Welp, I did pass the class, made 28/25 on extra credit, and 88% on the final = a solid B. :) So that means I will graduate May 2017. Okay, enough about me! Onto the contests!!!!! All this information will be posted in our GVC Post (that I'll make right after posting this newsletter). First off, the ever popular Mascot Contest. The prize is 50k. I know, a little cheap, but we are kinda low on funds at the moment, and I want to offer a special prize for a special contest. End date; 12/17 Whoops! Rules; 1 horse per stable Entries: 1. Calamity's Ember - Owned by Paige 2. Peridition - Owned by Demure 3. Sunflower - Owned by Jingle Ducky 4. Zuri - Owned by Valzed 5. Tallulah - Owned by Gypsy Vanners - J <------- Mascot of the Month!!!! Congrats!!! ~~6. Gemini - Owned by Christmas Cat~~ The second contest to be done is Raise Them Foundations; Christmas Style!!! For this one contest, you of course have to buy one store horse (Gypsy Vanner), raise it to the highest stats you can, but the catch is it HAS to have a Christmas themed name. :3 Prize; 50k End date; 12/31 Lastly, is a *SCAVENGER HUNT!!!* I shall create (with Microsoft Paint), little Christmas related items, and these shall be posted onto random member's and hopefully other pages (such as member riding schools etc. and I shall message the owners to ask permission) for you to find. A list shall be created and posted onto our Club Page below the layout. :3 You may save the image and print it off to check of the items you find. Prize: 200k + a breeding of one of my pair's of your choice. End date; 12/25 Note - The items may or may not only be on members of the GVC; So look at everyone's pages that you can think of!! Here's the items and the clues. Have fun!!!* GVC Scavenger Hunt! Starts; After you see this list on the GVC Club Page. :) Ends; 12/25 Prize; 200k + a breeding from one of my pairs of your choice. :) Rules: No asking other players where you might find the items. :) All the players who are hiding the items have been sworn to secrecy! 31 Items to find: 1. Christmas Tree Usually when you look for the perfect Christmas Tree, there is a risk of injury to yourself. But at this place, there is no risk. 2. Cardinal Tweet Tweet! This cute little bird is happily snuggled in the branches of a tree overlooking the Mar-something stables. 3. Ice Skate A silver skate to your silver name. 4. Angel With her blonde hair, she flies around a stable that has Andalusian's taking over! 5. Heart In a member's Riding School that is happy to be on Christmas Break. 6. Mitten I think to handle that pumpkin, you need to wear your mittens. 7. Jingle Bells On a member's page or stable who happens to have the letter G in their name. 8. Gingerbread Man The coffee is calling me, I must go. Wait! I don't want to do this. That stuff is hot!!! 9. The Grinch You will find this rascal on the lofty peaks overlooking the fair valley of Equiverse with his heart that is three-sizes too small. 10. Wreath Wow, what a wreath. Hung on the door of a player whose name begins with S. 11. Snowflake You will this snowflake landing somewhere among a fine herd of Mustangs that appears to be for sale. 12. Holly Sprig This player has plenty of Paints and Quarter Horses. 13. Present I gave this red and gold present to a new friend of mine; who is crazy about coffee. 14. Star Starlight, starbright. First star I see tonight. What do you see? I see a horse trotting through a moon-lit meadow, snowflakes falling, and with candy canes on either side. 15. Candle An artful player has this in her window. This player has unlimited deluxe time, which is very rare. 16. Snowman Don't worry about Frosty. He's perfectly fine. He's on a cold page that has sleighs running by. 17. Teddy Bear Teddy bear, teddy bear, turn around. Teddy bear, teddy bear show us around. Teddy bear, teddy bear, where are you? Teddy bear, Teddy bear I see you. But Teddy bear, Teddy bear who is stephe? 18. Stocking If you are careful when you find this item, the player with a crown, and a diamond in her name might not find a piece of coal in her stocking. 19. Candy Cane You just might find this item on the page that has candy cane in its name. 20. NOEL Aw Heck. I didn't know where else to put it! 21. Manger in Stable You will find this stable in a stable of a player whose name ends with &amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;ldquo;L&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;rdquo;. 22. Santa Clause Ol' Jolly Saint Nick is somewhere on a rather Jolly page, if I do say so myself. :) 23. George Bailey What is this movie's title? 24. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer This player will make you quack! She is awesome and you need to get to know her! 25. Red Ribbon If you look carefully, you might this item on a ranch. 26. Piece of Coal This player has certainly not been naughty, but item can be found somewhere near address 76258 on Equiverse Lane. 27. Sleigh Horse This horse is quite relaxed, as he rests near the Kazoo shop in the town. 28. Snow-covered House What a lovely sight to see, the snow-covered house on Equiverse Boulevard. The owner, as always is making sure we are happy, and often goes to work as a Exterminator whenever we complain that there are bugs around. 29. 5 colorful ornaments This item is hidden in the snow. Look somewhere near a player who has excellent horses of all breeds and whose name begins with wind. 30. Sleigh This horse-drawn sleigh is being drawn by the same flaxen chestnut you will found earlier or find later on. Either way, this sleigh is near a brown dun roan, and a few spot Appaloosa wearing Santa Hats. 31. #79815 Posted on 2016-12-13 16:21:37 I may just have to enter a contest or two, just for fun, now that my own finals are over! :D I hate those exams, too...I feel like they are double jeopardy when I already have a good grade. :P I was running a passing grade in Calculus all semester so...ugh. I'm still fretting over the grade not being there. The two A's I pulled off were in classes I wasn't worried about, so it's nice to know, but... 0 members like this post.
