Make him stop!!!

So I have started my 3 year old this Fall.
I've been slow with him as he is still a bit "immature". If that makes sense? LOL
That being said he is VERY smart, so I've been working on little things.
Such as reining, stopping, going, backing, standing being patient, things like that.
We have trotted maybe 3 times and only cantered once.
I'm in no hurry or rush with those, and won't push him till he's older.
He is done VERY well and I have even rode him on the road.
(we live in a small town and everyone is lovely when driving by.)
He knows to stop and stand when cars go by.
I feel I've started him good and he'll have a strong sense of training!

Anyways, I've had this boy for 3 almost 4 years
(he will be 4 in February and I purchased him in June, he was 4 months old)
He has been totally trained by me(I am a trainer as well lol)
He has grown up so much it makes me want to cry!
Here is the first picture I ever took of him and then a few days ago when we rode!

Well as a three year old, he is still a baby, and if it helps I've had my eight year old since he was three and we've never cantered yet XD

I'm totally in no hurry with him LOL
The only reason we even got to a canter is because he got a little excited :P

Some people look at me like I'm crazy -_-
