I have only 1 pain stallion left and there's no mares for sale who even have the white gene! Would anyone be interested in a temp (or perminant) breeding partnership? I need to get at least 1 or 2 whit paint foals from him before its too late. I have many really cool colours including red duns, brown duns, solids, you could breed with any of them in exchange for breeding with your white mares. I need help guys I don't want my white line to die with my second gen whites :/

If you breed him to a non-white-carrier, you'll get all white carrier foals; then at least you have the gene, and you have bought yourself time to buy white mates for them. :)

How will I know if they are a non-white carrier? What does that gene look like?

I don;t know if it would help much;; But I have one white paint mare, (though she's only at 0 years right now, and her stats aren;t too high) I'd be willing ot brood her out once she's of age, (Also I can breed to try for another white filly as well, I have a very small herd but it could be possible.) PM me to work something out if you want? c:

There is no such thing as a white-carrying horse. White (W) is dominant. If a horse has the gene, it will be white.

Hoku's Pride is a WT. So his foals have 50% chance of getting White from him and 50% chance of getting Tobiano.

I've been breeding him desperately to my mares hoping for at least one white foal but they all ended up as either solids or sabino/tobiano, i've bred him to some different mares fingers crossed I get a white out of one of themn at least haha my other white stallion bred 1 white foal, which I stupidly sold having thought I had too many whites (at the time I had a few, non produced white foals except legs which like I just said, I sold), I just bred Hoku' Pride to the mare legs bred a white with, both horses are 19 so fingers crossed I get a white on the first try haha

I'm having the opposite problem with some of my QHs. I breed my heterozyougs whites to non-whites and end up with white horses. I've been trying for 4 generations to get rid of the white in a particular line but still have it in some of the foals, sometimes the odds just don't work in your favor, lol. I hope your most recent breeding produces the foal you're hoping for :)

That's so frustrating for us both haha I wish I knew which genes to look for in my non-whites that would better than chances of getting white foals haha

There really are no genes on non-white horses that will help you get a white foal. It's pure luck of a 50/50 draw, and unfortunately, you haven't had much luck so far. I hope it turns for you.

Thanks, I hope my luck turns with my last batch from my own mares, I have him locked until a nice player who offered to try breeding him to some of her mares is ready to breed, an then he will be locked again until another kind player who has a white filly, I ready to breed the filly once she's 15

I finally got one! Say hello to Pride's Princess, hopefully only the first of several white foals to continue his line. If she ends up t only one at least she is a filly so I can breed her to outside white studs. I'm s relieved to at least have 1, and a very good one at that (for me anyway haha)
