I don't know if this is just me, but I kinda get attached to my horses and start worrying about them as if they're real. I just wanted to know if anything bad would happen if I moved a foals away from their mothers when they're a few days old.

The foals will follow. Until they're 5 days old, the foals follow the mother, as a week is considered a year, so by the end of 5 days, they're about 6-8 months old, and considered to be "weaned". :)

Moving the foals away from their mothers doesn't hurt them in anyway though; it does mean that you have to feed them as they aren't getting their mother's milk anymore.
