Roan Sky Academy - SU's - OPEN

Here at Roan Sky Academy, we welcome you to attend our Equine boarding school with your horse(s). We have roughly 200 acres of land for your horses to graze and cool off, and 50 acres of forest with trails that are perfect for a slow trail ride or a quick gallop through the trees. We have training arenas for everything from Dressage to Show Jumping. Tracks for Racing, and large spaces of obstacles for Cross Country.
We pride ourselves on the care of the horses. Each horse is fed 15 pounds of hay a day, a mix of oats, barley, corn is provided to them throughout the day as well that is measured out specifically for each horse to fit their needs. They are given the best quality feed for their vitamins, fat, protein and minerals.
We two on site vets, a farrier, and three trainers to help with horses. We have breeding rooms for the horses (which may only be bred upon permission of both owner of mare and sire, and both horses must receive a check up from the vet to be sure they are okay to breed). Each stall is 10x10ft, with rubber flooring, with walls made of wood with metal bars and locks.
You may board your horse here, or loan out one of our here. All we ask is that you care for the horse and work with them.

Description; Emma has pale toned skin it does get darker in the summer because normally she gets a tan. She has red-brown hair a mix of it that is medium and straight she does curl the ends of her hair though. Emma has light-hazel green eyes and is 5'8 and is moderate sized for her age range. Often putting her hair in a sloppy side braid with a flannel shirt and jeans with her favorite pair of boots.
Personality: Emma is a friendly girl to everyone she meets leaving no one out. She can't stand to hold a grudge even though you have hurt her she still tries to be friendly. Description: Mica is a beanpole of a kid. He stands at a towering 6'7", and is a mess of lanky weirdness, though he is pretty attractive. His hair is short and shaggy, some flopping into his eyes most of the time, and it's a bright white-blond. His facial features are sharp and defined, and his eyes are a piercing ice blue.
Personality: Mica is, for the most part, a quiet kid. Though once you get to know him, he won't shut up. He's incredibly sweet, and had a huge heart, especially for animals. He almost never gets mad, and when he does, he doesn't let it show. He tends to find the good in people, rather than the bad, and hence he has a good relationship with almost every person in his life.
History: Mica was born in the heart of Oregon, to two very wealthy parents, on a very large ranch with around a dozen horses at a time, tons of cattle, chickens, pigs, and the like. He developed his love of horses at a very young age, being around them so often. By the time he was three, he was helping feed and care for the horses. And on his sixth birthday, he received a little mixed-breed pony for his very own. He adored that pony, and was by his side until he passed away. By then Mica had bought himself a mare and a gelding, the mare as a laid-back trail horse, and the gelding to train for Western Horsemanship/Pleasure. To this day, he still has and uses the gelding, but the mare escaped one night and they never found her.

Description; Kate is 5'3 she has long black hair with purple highlights that stops just before the middle of her back she always has her hair up never down, she has blue green eyes. She's always wearing jeans and either a black or grey t-shirt, she has a small piercing on the right side of her nose. She can usually be found with at least one ear bud in her ears.
Personality: Kate doesn't really care for drama, so she just sticks to herself most of the time. She isn't much of a people person, and can be shy at first. Once she opens up she can be out going, she's the one to old a grudge for at least a few weeks.
History: Kate had been born in Nevada her father had own a cattle ranch, her mother had died when she was very young because of this her and her father are very close. She was 7 when she got her first horse, who they sadly had to sell when they lost the ranch. When they lost the ranch, they moved around a lot. Her father promised to get her another horse once they settled down. When they finally settled down she was surprised with Crow for her 15th birth day.

Zac is a rather ripped looking young man with a six pack and a muscular appearance. This young man stands at 6'1 and has short, shaggy light brown hair and deep, innocent hazel eyes that show his softer side. Zac will often be seen wearing faded blue jeans and either a singlet, tank top or a flannelette shirt often in the colour red, blue or some sort of vibrant, 'manly' colour. He is a rather attractive young fellow but it is hard to define his age based on looks.
Personality:
Young Zachary is confident and courageous person who is able to hold his ground in almost any situation. With a rather big personality, some may find Zac obnoxious and annoying but the truth is that he is not afraid to be himself around strangers as he believes that anyone who wants to be his friend will know the real him from the very start. Zac is a daredevil and has been known to be too brave for his own good when it comes to impressing girls. He can be rather dominating but once you put him in his place he becomes respectful of you and those around him. Zac is fun to be around and also seems to brighten up the room, he is honest and a very caring young man because once you become his friend, nobody should have the guts to mess with you ever again.
History:
Zac was born and raised in rural Queensland, making him an aussie boy at heart. He has always been around horses and cattle as he grew up on a 5000 acre cattle farm breeding Droughtmasters. He has always had a love for equines and took the country by storm with his love for the Australian sport of Campdrafting. Zac decided from his early teens that he was going to take Campdrafting to America and here he is.

He has a wide blaze which resembles a rifle when you look at it straight on. This gelding has an average build and rather good conformation, his head has a very slight roman nose. After a freak accident in a trailer, Trooper is blind in his left eye but is still capable of doing everything before the accident.

This gelding is a little on the heavy side as he has spent most of his life on the mountains and has allot of muscle mass, he has slightly down hill conformation but it isn't too noticeable.

Description; She has long, straight black hair that falls almost to her eblows, dark forest green eyes with thick dark lashes, fair skin with very few freckles along the bridge of her nose and along her cheek bones. She has an oval shaped face with kind, clearly femine features. She stands at 5'5, has a thin athletic build. If she isnt dressed in riding clothes she is usually in a pair of faded jeans and a soild coloured tee shirt or sweater.
Personality: She is spunky, out going, kind, helpful, smart and very careful. She likes meeting new people and will be kind to them as long as they are kind to her. She doesnt mind being asked to help out with things, and very much enjoys to keep busy. She prefers to work alone or in small groups because large groups and crowds make her nevous and kind of shy. Her favourite place to be is in the barn, even if she is just helping stack hay or clean tack.
History: Her parents breeds eventing thoroughbreds, so she has been around horses all her life. She started to 'ride' around the same time she learned to walk and has stuck with it since. In middle school she had played soccer and been on the school cross country team. When she graduated highschool she didnt know what school she wanted to go to so instead she stayed on her parents farm to help out and got a part time job at a pet store that only lasted a few months.

He was bred by Sera's family and has been Sera's horse of choice since he was able to be ridden.

Personality: he is very helpful and kind. he doesnt mind having to get things down off the top shelf or having to lug hay around when someone else needs help carrying it. he is pretty independent but he loves benig around others and being involved with anything going on.
History: he doesnt have very much experience riding horses but he has been working with them on the ground for years. When he was sixteen he started showing horses in hand and would often hang around to help set up jumps for the jumper classes when ever he could. He liked hanging around just to watch the horses.

Description: Michelle is average height at 5'6, she has a slim figure with a pale to lightly tanned skin. Her hair is thin, straight and dirty blonde that reaches between her shoulders and the middle of her back in length but is usually tied back in ponytails and buns. Her facial structure is strong and sharp accompanied with thin lips and round pale blue eyes. She usually wears polo shirts with a vets emblem and jeans with horse boots, and she prefers sleeveless vests and long sleeve undershirts in cold weather.
Personality: Michelle is a comforting women, very mature and serious when she needs to be. Though she seems older then she actually is at first meeting, she does know how to wind down and relax, including having fun and enjoying other's company. She knows when to lend a ear and has a gentle and soothing feel about her, almost motherly. This makes her someone you can trust and get advice from. Though just because she seems like a kind women, she can be stubborn, quick to jump to conclusions and a bit rushed. She doesn't know when to take her time and likes to finish things in a quick manner, usually resorting in wanting to do things by herself.
History: Michelle grew up in the city, Australia, Sydney in fact. Though she loved horses from a young age, she didn't get to be around them often. The older she got, Michelle's interests in becoming a vet started at around the age of fourteen when she learned that her grandfather was also a horse vet. This and her interest in horses caused her to go to University once she left high school with high marks for six years learning to become a vet focusing on horses. During those years she bought her horse Chika off of a place that held trail rides, they were closing up and selling all their horses. After she finished her course, she got a job here at Roan Sky Academy at 25 years old, she took the job even if it was far from where she lives and has been working here for two years now.

She is slightly porky as she isn't worked as hard as the other horses, but more of a pleasure riding horse. She is very gentle and calm, lovs attention and also very patient.
