I have two horses named Shorty and Belle. Shorty is a bay thoroughbred and Belle is a light bay Arabian. Then why do I breed Quarter Horses??? You may ask, well I breed Quarter Horses because when I was little I had a chesnut Quarter Horse named Jax. He was very stuburn but loyal too. He may have been ornery, but my family and I still admired him. He started getting this weird bump on his neck, so we brought Jax to the vet. He got a test and we brought him home. Little did I know what was going to happen. The test results came back 3 days later. " He has cancer that will eventually lead to death." The vet said. I was to little to understand what cancer was, so I thought of him as an ordinary "horsey" as I used to call him. Maybe a few weeks after the call came in I woke up on an ordinary bed, with ordinary things, and an ordinary breakfast. That all ended when my mom told us that Jax had went to Horse Heaven. The place where "horsey's" souls went when they didn't want to be on earth anymore. I cried just like the rest of my family when he went to "Horsey Heaven." I still wasn't old enough to understand. Jax taught me to not judge a horse by its temper. He taught me the meaning of life and how it works. He taught me when you fall get back up. He was worthy.

This is a very sad story. I'm so sorry ;;. He's not in pain or suffering any longer though and I'm sure he's in a better place. R.I.P. Jax.
