Mark messages as unread

Just a small suggestion, I was wondering if it would be possible to mark messages we receive as unread so that we still have the notification, etc. For example, sometimes I might receive a message requires a lot of time to either read it or write a response, and if I don't have the time to do so then I can come back to it later. Since I've already opened it the notification/etc will have gone away, but if I can mark it as unread, or leave the notification still in place that just ensures I don't forget about it.
