New college course

Ahhh.

I'm starting my new college course on Friday and I am so nervous. I really shouldn't be nervous at this point, I'm nearly 19 and have been going to college for 2 and a bit years now. Although I can't help but think "will I fit in?". I'm worried I'll be the quiet one at the back of the class.

I am excited to start at my new course though as it is Animal care and I get to work with three of my favourite reptiles (bearded dragons, snakes and geckos) as well as finches, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, chinchillas, degus and ferrets.

So yeah it will be a new experience for sure seeing as I have been a digital media/computer student for 3-4 years now.

Going from digital to brick-n-mortar classes can be a really fun experience. I did most of my first 2 years online and then did the last 2 years completely brick-n-mortar. I find that when you really enjoy the topic it isn't too difficult to find friends in the class because there will be others who also really enjoy the topic. Also it sounds like a class that will have a small number of students in it and that is always a huge bonus for me personally because it makes connecting with other students a million times easier. Having a few number of students also makes fading into the background nearly impossible because eventually the teacher will talk to you or ask you questions during lecture (in my personal experience).
