And so I'm back

Officially. I went to Tennessee this past weekend and picked up another member of my family, a 7 week old Rat Terrier puppy. Why travel 13 hours for a puppy you ask? Well here's the thing... I wasn't counting on it.

Two years ago, I was researching Rat Terrier bloodlines because when I was 15, i had a rat terrier, AKC registered and wanted to see if he had any offspring. He did. So, after more research, I found a breeder who had the third generation grandson of Rooster. I sent her a message on facebook.

fast forward 2 years later in August, I started looking for corgis. Because i love the breed. A lot. So here I am looking and out of nowhere, I get a message on facebook and it's from the breeder I spoke too 2 years ago... And while she doesn't have any rat terriers, she knew some breeders that had my rat terrier's lines. So after a few phone calls and facebook messages, I found one. And I picked her up on the 2nd of October. And she's gorgeous. Her name is Ash.

I'm happy and it's life changing for me because I get to hold a little bit of my best friend now, after 12 years.
