I was thinking there could be more alerts.


Studs: If a horse isn't up for stud and you want to be notified if it is put up for stud, than this is useful

Grown Up: If a foal grows up it notifies you, this would be useful for projects and other things

Looking for a certain horse: If a horse you are looking for (like specific markings, coat colors, maybe a certain breeder, certain stats, certain price, etc) you might be notified when a horse like what you are looking for is put on the market as this would save a ton of time

I've been very tired of searching each day for a horse I am looking for

Much as I can see where you're coming from in being tired of doing a lot of searching, it kind of sounds like that would have people kind of playing the game on auto-pilot. I mean, why would players bother looking for good horses, or creating their own, when they can just program in some presets and wait for a notification? Why keep track of their own horses when they can just wait for a notification? Why bother interacting with other people when they can just click a button and wait for a notification? Now, I'm not saying more notifications would be a bad thing overall, depending on what they are, but when notifications replace actually playing the game, they're probably going to hurt more than help. For example, if that last suggestion, about getting a notification about a horse with certain specifics goes up for sale, that would actually decrease your chance of getting the horse, since everyone else who may be looking for something like that could just program in their notifications, and then it would just be whoever is online first to grab it with no other effort. And how much more frustrating might it be to not get what you're looking for just because someone, possibly someone not even that dedicated to the game overall, just happened to be online to get a notification first? The current system, while a far cry from perfect, rewards those who are willing to put into the effort to find what they want on their own.

Also, I think a lot of those notifications would be hard to code. :)

It really doesn't take that much to plug in some details and search for it. I'm doing it every day for horses I need. Definitely would take out of the game by having it automatically done for you.
