I think one way to help the horse market would be to give a realistic minimum bid when selling horses on bids. It helps the newer buyers know realistically what you want, instead of bidding random amounts that seem to upset the seller. If you have a 1,000 dollars as your minimum, you can't be upset when someone bids 1,500 dollars. To them it looks like a good bid, It's the minimum, plus half. Anyways, I think if more people moved to putting their actually minimum as minimum bid, it would take away some of the misunderstandings and frustration between newer and older players

Typically a seller will put the lowest they'll go on a horse, but expect roughly 5-10k more. An older player wouldn't price a horse at 1k unless they really wanted it gone. Most players use the bidding system as a way of "vetting" the player that wants the horse, and then decide whether to sell it to them or not based on their practices.

I agree. As a newer player and frequent horse buyer I've noticed a huge range in price on horses, so it's really hard to know what a fair price is. I've been able to get great horses for relatively cheap, and I'm sure I've unintentionally upset older players with bids that seemed low to them.

My usual bids are 5000 k, but prices depend on stats, conformation, coat color, markings, grade, etc.
