Ouch.

Ouch.

So, I've had a terrible night. As my status says I'm in poor health at the moment, but I certainly didn't need what happened last night. I won't go into details about the other health stuff, as I'm already having trouble typing this up.

So, I slept in till about 5pm, as I was up till 6am reading my friend's book. My mom woke me up via the intercom, and startled me somewhat awake. Let's say I was very much still asleep, and started running out of my room to see what she needed. Needless to say I was very off balance, and my eyes were barely open (plus I had no lights on in my room. I swung the door open and only made it a few steps, before I face-planted. It sounds hilarious, but understand that my room is upstairs, and we have hardwood flooring. I landed on my already bad shoulder (right shoulder), and I thought for sure I'd dislocated it or broke my arm. Plus I hit my head on the first step, and thankfully didn't fall down the stairs. But, I did get the wind knocked out of me, so I called for my mom and she came running. She was a doctor for over a decade, so she has plenty of medical experience to access what was wrong.

My dad was on the phone with her, and was extremely worried. He was on speaker as well so I could hear him. I had since burst into tears as the pain was unbearable. It was loud enough that dad could hear, and my dad is currently in VA repairing our house there so we can put it up for sale. Which means he's about 500 miles away from us, and couldn't be there to help me. But, his voice was enough to calm me down, slightly.

I barely could breathe as like I said I'd gotten the wind knocked out of me. Anyways, mom practically had to carry me to my room, onto my bed. As I was just a mess (still am). Dad remained on the phone for another thirty or so minutes, before reluctantly saying bye as he had to do more work. Mom took great care of me, and has confirmed I have pulled a tendon in my shoulder or a sprain, and possibly sprained my wrist. Tomorrow I'll be wearing a sling, and a brace for my wrist. I don't doubt I'll be in even more pain tomorrow, as my shoulder is swollen and already turning purple. No concussion luckily, just a minor headache and bump on my head.

While mom was getting me fixed up and comfortable my Irish Setter, Copper was watching over me. He's pretty well become my therapy dog, and I love him.

Here's a picture of Copper and I a few months ago

So, for the next few days-weeks I'll be enjoying re-watching Hawaii Five-0 and The Flash. Plus reading my friend's book.

Once healed up from this, I'll inform you of my other health issues. Nothing life threatening, but still fairly serious.

Oh, and Shawn our Mini yearling had a tumor surgically removed from his face. So, keep him in your thoughts. It wasn't cancerous, and the vet says he should be fine. He also has developed rain rot yet again, and we are currently treating him for that. He had it when we bought him, and has now developed it again. He has an open wound from his surgery as it couldn't be stitched, but it's healing nicely.

Rosie our mare has been diagnosed with a Chronic Eye Problem, which we are treating. But, it isn't curable. She's had it for nearly a decade, and finally a vet was able to diagnose her. It makes her teary eyed, but she can see just fine.

Oh, and my dad turns 51 on the 29th. Unfortunately, he'll still be in VA on it. So, we'll have to celebrate when he gets back.

I graduate from 12th grade homeschool in November. We'll be heading to my grandmother's house in AL. I'm so excited. We'll take some of my senior photos there with her horses, and the rest here.

Thanks for all the support you've given me in these tough times, and I hope all of you are doing well. You're awesome if you read all that, I tend to talk too much lol.

PS. Please don't start a debate over homeschool on this post. My mom was a teacher for about 5 years before becoming a doctor. So, she had plenty of experience with teaching. Plus I took some online classes as well. So, again please keep your negative opinions to yourself, thanks ;)

Ouch, sounds like it's been an eventful couple of days. :( I'm sorry, it's incredibly frustrating to already have health issues and then get banged up and worsen them in the process.

Your Irish Setter is gorgeous, what a good cuddly pup! :)

I hope you heal quickly, love.

I forgot your dad and I share a birthday... if I had time tomorrow, I would head up to your old house and give him a hug for you.

@vos: Oh yeah, Happy Early Birthday!

@everyone: Thank you! Although, I'm not feeling much better physically, I'm quite happy with all your support! My mom fed the horses and dogs today for me. Quite the surprise, as it's usually what I do. Pretty much the only reason I got out of bed was to feed them, only for mom to tell me she'd already done so.

My wrist still hurts, and so does my shoulder. But, that's not what I'm here to update everyone on. It's the other health problems I have. I won't go into too many details. But, sometime this week my parents we'll be taking me to the ER for some tests, and blood work. Unsure, if I'll stay over night or not, depends on what needs to be done, and what they say is wrong. One reason we're choosing the ER is that it would take too long elsewhere to get the right medical specialists, etc to examine me.

The hospital has access to everything I'll be needing. I have a few things wrong, but the main one we're going in for has to do with my stomach, and digestive system. Things are a little messed up, and I'm not able to eat properly, thus I am losing a lot of weight. I'm already a slim girl, as it is at about 102 lbs average weight. At the moment I'm 96 lbs, which ain't good considering my 5'5 height.

Also keep Little Bear and Copper in your thoughts please! Copper has an ear infection, which is being treated, and Little Bear has a deep laceration on his right hind leg. He is limping badly, and we will be taking him to the vet very soon. At the moment he's staying in the house, unless he needs to go potty. I'm so thankful my mom noticed, so we could get him inside, and comfortable. He's eating and drinking well, as well as taking naps. We talked to the vet on the phone, and she thinks he should be fine overnight as long as we keep a close watch on him.

I'm not sure what he cut himself on as there's several possibilities. He doesn't really do much anymore, since he's 17 years old and since gone almost completely deaf.

For those that don't remember what he looks like. This is him a few years ago. He's a Poodle x Terrier mix.

I'll most likely lock my account tonight just in case I need to stay at the ER overnight. Even though, I'm not going today, I just want to be sure all my EV critters are locked up beforehand.

I'll be sure to keep you guys updated as much as I can. Oh and tag orders are pretty much done, just haven't uploaded them.
