Advice?

So I've been working on this today... Obviously it's far from done, but here is something... A few months ago I made the mane and forelock on a different horse but today I made the face lines all new.



So the add ons are
Tooth
Flowers
Horn
Meaning, if I decide to sell in the future there could be different versions.

What I'd like help on,
Horn... UHGGG I don't even know how...
Muscle and bones... where to put them....

Should I even have an eye?

Let me know if there is any interest too... For recolors.

Down the road I'd be looking for someone to do a grey scale...

Very pretty :D maybe try making the horn a bit bigger and not so many of the round knobs?

I think adding an eye would make this lineart even better. You would have to move or minimize the bangs to do that. Not sure how to explain how the eyes add more life into the art (at least in my opinion).

Love how smooth your lines are. I need to learn how to do that.

I could do a few different versions of the horn. If you have an example of how the horn should look that would be great.

As for the eye... I could always make this a double sided ref sheet. Wouldn't that be fancy.

I think it looks really cool! I agree with michaella's first post about the horn.

I agree that adding an eye would give it some more character and make it feel less 'flat'.

To me the area between the ears and cheek feels a little simple, particularly compared to the detailing lower down on the face. If that part is to remain visible it needs a little more something to make it feel more dynamic.

Mic I don't know how I didn't see the link... I'll chalk it up to no sleep... If you want to watch me do some lines I'll throw up a join me sometime. I use photoshop and my mouse. It's pretty simple how I do it.

River, I'll have to see what I can do with the other side once I get the body done. I completely agree with the cheek.... It's just an empty space I don't know what to put there though, that's why I'm asking for help...

I do think it would be very cool that a art sale have a two sided tag sale so they can use either side for their character.

So should it be a head shot or a full body? Tag or full character ref?

I was imagining head shot but maybe it'll be cool to be full body, I don't know lol.
