Miss peregrines home for perculiar children

I just wanted to know if anyone is as obsessed with the series as I am especially since the movie release is almost upon us!

I've read a book by this name. Is it a Book or tv series? I think I remember it being vaguely creepy.

I've started the book, never finished it. But what i can remember is pretty good. I will most likely still see the movie as I just saw the previews toady! Let me just say, that peculiar little girl with the mouth on the back of her head! 0.0

I've never heard of it! What's it about?
Is it available in the UK as well as the US? I hope so as I've been wanting to get into a good book series recently, it comes with a movie too which sounds even better xD
