What time do shows run?

as the title says: what time do shows run? 50% of the time I enter with shows under 5 entries assuming others will enter before the show runs. But now I'm second guessing my strategy.

I don't like to do the shows with the most entrees because it's less probability I'll place. Normally I show in the morning hours, but yesterday I showed in the evening and I find my horses did very well, anyone else notice this?

From the April 30th news post:

Shows which fill up (25 entries) will now run within 15 minutes of the last entry joining instead of waiting to run the next day.

I'm assuming unfilled shows still run the next morning when CRON runs.
