So, yeah. Life has been both good and bad. I could go on and on about how awesome it is to be back in my hometown, seeing friends, etc.
But, let's focus on the bad for now shall we? A few days ago Sidekick (our Mini horse stallion), started to colic. We're not sure on the cause, could easily have been the heat. As in VA (the area we were in) it's around 75-96 F. Well down here it's 85-110 F. There's a difference. Anyways, we (my dad and I) spent 6+ hours walking him around, and keeping him active till we could get the medicine. He was not doing good, it was bad enough as to when he'd go down I'd sit down beside him. When dad finally got back he'd found me half asleep in a chair, with Sidekick standing next to me resting. It was also 104 F outside, so really really hot. The chair was in front of a giant fan we have, which is likely how I ended up dozing off during my break. I remember I was humming a song, calming Sidekick down, and then drifting off lol. Anyways, mom gave him the medicine, and he is now all good. Shawn is needing a serious diet (which is being worked on). We keep teasing him about his weight (Shawn is a horse for those that don't know). Chance is also doing pretty well. Mack is still a meany butt. But, he's calming down. Rosie is as happy and as sweet as ever. Alrighty, ready for more bad news? I have sprained my right shoulder, and burned my right hand. How'd I manage this? The shoulder is general clumsiness, so we'll skip over that. The burning of the hand? That is from my old laptop charger. So, let me give you a little info about the laptop charger that has caused the burns. It was a wonderful laptop charger and did well for many months.....until Sterling thought it'd be funny to chew on it. Yep, that cat doesn't know when to stop destroying expensive things. So, dad fixed it as best he could, with electrical tape, etc. It worked for almost a full year before the overheating started. Yes, I realize I'm a dummy for not just replacing it, but I was too busy with other stuff to be overly concerned about it. So, a few days ago, it started overheating, and I was going to pick it up and move it (or something). Note to self, don't pick it up where I did as it burned my hand, and I immediately unplugged it and removed it from my laptop. Of course, I go through all this not even realizing my dad has two spare laptop chargers in his backpack that would fit my laptop. That's what I get for being too lazy to ask. So, art, replying, everything is slow at the moment as my hand and shoulder heals. My heart is also still healing from the loss of my cat Cleo . RIP girl. So, for those wondering why I'm taking so long on replying to things whether it's on dA or EV. Rest assured I'm not ignoring you, just hurts to move my arm, shoulder, fingers, etc. It sounds worse than it actually is. Alright, I'll attempt to stop talking now.

lol I am. At the moment it is in the middle of my floor. But, isn't plugged in or anything. The animal hospital sent out a sympathy card to us, signed by all the staff members. It was very touching. I truly appreciate all your help and support it means the world to me!

Thanks everyone! My dad just brought a bouquet of flowers to my room. I'm on bed rest sort of. Plus the stress has set in, both from my shoulder and the fact I'm being haunted by severe nightmares. To the point I can't go back asleep. But, the flowers totally brightened my day. And the fact, that I've got all your lovely comments to read c:
