{Gaia} Gets Crafty!

I'm definitely NOT a crafty person, but I've been wanting to do this little project for quite a while now. I'm moving here in a month (I'll explain that another time) and made this to go on my kitchen counter when I do move. I ordered the 'P' (my last initial) online which is basically just a wood cutout and then purchased the paint, flowers, and craft glue at Michael's. I really like how it turned out. I picked the colors because it'll go well in spring, summer, and fall.

What do y'all think?

I'm hardly a crafty person. Drawing is my strong suit. When I craft, it usually ends in strings of hot glue everywhere and dried tears because I got frustrated with the project. XD I can't remember the last time I did something cool like that. So hats off to you for successfully completing a beautiful project!

Haha this was the first successful craft I've done in probably a good year. But it was so easy that it was pretty much impossible to screw it up xD Those are the best kinds of crafts lol.

I love that shade of blue and the flowers are just so pretty. It will certainly brighten up your kitchen :)

Lol if you hadn't said it was a P not sure if I would have figured it out, I thought it was a fancy swirly thing when I saw the picture XD that being said love your color choices :D

Looks great! I'm with Wonder Wiki, I wouldn't have seen a "P" if not told otherwise! I'm the camp of buying/saving things with the intent to get crafty....and only ever looking at the pretty things. I etched an owl into a shot glass recently, but that's about it, LOL.

Thanks, y'all :) I couldn't wait until I moved to put it up, so it's sitting in my kitchen now.

But yeah, the P is a bit curly looking, but if you look up "cursive P", you'll see several that look quite similar. :)
