Lauralee Lovegood
Lauralee watched as the boy walked out with his toad and another girl stumbled into their compartment as the train took off suddenly. Laura herself had fallen back into her seat unexpectedly, but she managed to situate herself into a more comfortable position immediately after. As she smoothed down the front of her sweater, she noticed someone looking at her from the corner of her eye. The blonde glanced up to see a boy staring at her. He was sitting alone and looked to be about Lee's age. She couldn't help thinking that he was a rather good-looking gent, and before she knew it, she was blushing again. Lauralee quickly looked down again, hoping her hair would hide her face. She wasn't used to attention, especially not from boys.

Kenny Rendolf

The boy blushed and smiled. Why would she cover her beautiful face with her lushes hair. Why not show both of them off. He thought. It was hard to look away, he couldn't stop. Then the train started, and announcements said to keep inside their compartments. That was sad. No one wanted to sit with him. Most of every one he saw was shy, except clumsy chicken, the twin boy and the bad mouth about mudbloods to the side. He looked back at her, and then pulled himself inside. He hoped they would end up in the same house ...

Lauralee Lovegood
Lauralee kept glancing up at the boy, but quickly looking away, and every time she glanced over, he was staring. She could feel her blush deepening. She grabbed a strand of blonde hair and began to twirl it around her index finger, a habit she'd had for quite some time, something she did when she got nervous. Taking a deep breath, Laura finally gathered up her courage and brushed her hair out of her face. Before she had a chance to change her mind, she looked up at the boy and made eye contact, smiling as she did so. 'Hello,' she mouthed to him as she gave him a small wave.

Kenny Rendolf

Kenny visibly became as red as a cherry when he blushed. He thought he'd be the one to say the first word, but he was mistaken. He smiled back, and made a wave. Then he decided to say something. The train stopped, as some students were late, so he could now come out of the compartment, but was too nervous to. "Hello, my name's Kenny. I couldn't help but notice your beautiful eyes, they make the room light up." he blushed and frowned. "I mean, they are really pretty." he started to stumble over words, for he felt that he was being cheesy. Kenny blushed harder, when people started to look at him. He looked around, but decided to ignore the attention, yet the eyes were spilling away anyway. He looked back at her, not knowing what to say. He wouldn't dare say something that would be a turn around, making her uncomfortable. He didn't know what to do. Love at first sight was impossible, and at this age.... hey he felt as if he were bending the rules around... what if it were possible, and for his age. But his feelings weren't what he was worried about. It was the fact that he might face betrayal in the future. Even if the God of muggles gave him good looks, he didn't care. He wanted to be charming, and more than just what's on the outside. (I totally feel cheesy right now)

(i hope it will stay active. sorry, I haven't been on EV for a while. Anyways, I'd like to just comment that teachers don't need to be involved until the students arrive. :D)

Sirius Mahan
Sirius fell with a plop into his seat at the sudden start. He shook his fist mockingly towards the driver. "Well," he declared, settling down, "I've never heard of a 'stay in your compartments' rule on the Express before. Maybe it was just for the sudden start. Usually students roam the train." He cocked his head, not joking, pondering for a moment. "Well!" he declared again, hopping up and peering out of the compartment. "Must have been just for the start. Oh well."

Olivia Mahan
Olivia looked at the girl who had fallen into their compartment. She patted the seat next to her. "Well, you may as well just settle down here then," she said with a smile. Kreacher peeked out and blinked at her with wide green eyes. Olivia dragged him out and stroked him.

Lauralee watched as the boy become quite red, and at first she thought she'd done something wrong. Then he smiled, however, and waved, and the blonde breathed a sigh of relief. The train stopped, and the boy came over into her compartment, and when he spoke, introducing himself, he seemed nervous, which, of course, was something that Laura could easily understand. She blushed at his compliment as she got up and went over to stand face-to-face with Kenny. "Thank you, and it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Lauralee Lovegood." She smiled comfortingly before adding, "Would you like to sit in my compartment?" The blonde hoped that Olivia wouldn't mind; after all, Kenny had been sitting alone and she hoped that if the two spent more time together, he would become more comfortable around her. Lee knew what it was like to get flustered and to stumble over words, and she knew it could be embarrassing, but what better person to help someone else overcome it but the Queen of Awkwardness herself.

Gwendolyn Underwood
Gwendolyn stumbled as the train took a sudden start. She just managed to catch herself before she had a chance to fall into Sirius. Fred leaped from the red-head's shoulder and landed onto the seat beside him. She laughed as Sirius shook his fist angrily at the the driver, as though he could've seen it, and then took a seat beside him, and across from Henry. She shrugged in response to the boy's remark. "Noone I can't handle. George is my grandfather, after all." The girl turned her attention back to Sirius. "Yes, it is odd. But rules have never stopped me before." The train came to a stop again and Gwen frowned. "What are they trying to do? Break our bloody necks?!"

Sirius Mahan
Sirius stood up, concern creasing his face, genuine this time. "I'll be right back." He got into the aisle and made his way up to the front, to talk with the conductor. He found the man yanking on the brake like a mad man. "Need help?" Sirius asked the aging, grey-haired conductor. The man nodded, wiping a glistening brow. Sirius looked at the jammed brake and pulled, hard. It finally unjammed and the train slowly slid forward. The conductor nodded and thanked Sirius. Sirius smiled and headed back to his compartment.

Olivia Mahan
Olivia stood and waved the boy in. "Of course you can come in," she said in response to the questioning glance Lee sent her way.

Kenny Rendolf
The train then jerked forward, and Me by was forced to sit down by it. He blushed, I knew she was related to the Luna Love good! He sat down next to Olivia and kind of didn't know what to say. Finally, he was able to say two words;
"Thank you."
He looked at them. "You know I thought my dreams of making friends would be impossible to do when you talk to no one as soon as you get to the train station. I was a little nervous. I guess, I was more shy than I thought." he said, "Anyway. I had a feeling you were related to Luna Livegood as soon as I saw you." He smiled. "I've seen pictures of her when she was young. She was quite pretty, and that is how I knew you were related to her. You look somewhat similar to me. Except, the newer generation must mean you get prettier." He blushed, and felt a little cheesy.
