(We are so terrible to our characters, xD Also I am changing how long they were in the truck, if you don't mind)
|| Malkia ||
"I don't know, but a while. It is early morning, we were walking in mid afternoon. I don't know if it was just a few hours, a few days, weeks...we are so far from home! I was supposed to become Queen soon...I mean, with you by my side, but still! And now we have to find our way home!" She groaned, collapsing into a mess on the ground, though she wasn't crying. She would never cry infront of anyone but Aina or her mother.
She steadied herself on her feet again, sighing heavily. "Let's get moving, we have lots of walking to do." She groaned as she looked around for some shelter. "Are you a good hunter? I am famished," She wasn't going to admit she was never taught to hunt, but she wouldn't make a fool of herself trying to hunt.
"We can take shelter there for the time being, before we start walking again." She offered as she pointed her muzzle towards a small tumble of rocks in the vast, empty sandy place they were in. "Unless we should keep moving now and try and find a better, more prey filled place to sleep?"

(Yeah, that's fine!)
|| Hamu ||
"I'm okay at hunting. That is, if there's anything around here. Maybe we should rest today and travel at night since it's in the open sun. Just for today, or until we reach somewhere that has some more shade to travel through." Hamu reasoned, now in survival mode. It was a weird feeling; not having someone bring him food when he was hungry. Stupid poachers taking away his luxury!
"We better get going." Hamu muttered, walking in the direction of the rocks. He scented the air, though nothing fresh stuck out. There was a faint hint of zebra. Once they got to the cave and made sure it was safe (but who would be dumb enough to live in the heat?) they could go out hunting. "We'll have to find water, too."
|| Aina ||
"Has anyone seen Malkia?" Aina asked, a look of worry on her face. She had gone out yesterday and Aina hadn't seen her since. The young lioness just assumed she was having a good time with Hamu and would return at night, but neither of the two were anywhere to be seen.

|| Roho ||
The lioness had been lounging with some others, watching over the cubs. "No I haven't. I thought they fell madly in love last night and were off doing what lions in love do." She shrugged, but she was obviously bothered that Hamu wasn't back yet. "Should we send a search party to look for them, in case they are in trouble?" She asked somewhat nervously.
|| Malkia ||
She nodded, curling up under the rocks, yawning. "I am extremely tired, can't we rest for a bit? It is really hot out here, walking in this heat won't do us any good." She said as she closed her eyes, her tail over her muzzle.
"Do we need to find water at the moment? Won't we survive a few hours without it? I mean, we've made it this far haven't we?" She said as she opened one eye, glancing at him.
She already hated being out here with him, and it had only been a few minutes. "It is so hhhhooootttt." She groaned, rolling over in an attempt to shelter her pale body from the heat. "It's not surprising there is no life out here, who would be stupid enough to live out here?" She asked, as if Hamu would answer.

|| Aina ||
Fear began prickling at Aina's pelt. Malkia wasn't in danger, was she? "Will you come with me to look? I don't want to worry their parents unless we can't find them." Clearly she was oblivious to how Roho might feel about going to look for them, but she was a naive soul at times, and, at this particular moment, a very worried one.
|| Hamu ||
"If we wait we'll only become more dehydrated. I really think our priority should be finding water, then resting." Hamu tried not to sound rude, but wasn't finding water the first thing you were supposed to do when you were lost? "At least you don't have a mane wrapped around your neck." He muttered, sitting down and flicking his tail to the side. "Okay, how about we rest for a few minutes, then go look for water? Where there's water around here, there's got to be good."

The white lioness shook her head. "I'm on cub duty. Take someone else, like Kilio or Wazi. Yeah, take the old blind Wazi, he'll be all over finding Hamu." She chuckled dryly as she let a cub play with her tail tuft.
"If they weren't in trouble I think they would have come back by now, I think Queen Anina and King Tawi need to be informed, King Kifo and Queen Maisha as well." She said, though she didn't look at the young lioness, her eyes fixed on some cubs, wishing she and Hamu could one day have cubs.
|| Malkia ||
"Alright, let's get moving then." She grumbled, getting up and beginning to walk in the opposite direction the truck was going, so that they were going the way they had came. "If we follow this dirt path that machine left, it'll probably lead us to water." She suggested.
The sun and heat seemed to worsen as they walked, and her coat quickly soaked with sweat, and she did feel sympathy for poor Hamu. His coat was thicker, and he had a big thick mane to carry on his neck.

|| Aina ||
"Oh, I hope they're okay!" Aina shifted on her paws anxiously, spinning around and dashing to the den of the royals. "King Kifo! Queen Maisha! I need to speak with you!" She cried urgently, waiting anxiously outside of the den.
|| Hamu ||
Hamu's tongue was completely dry. How long had they been walking? It felt like forever. His head felt heavy, and by now he walked with his neck bent toward the ground. This certainly was not how he expected this day to go! Or.. how yesterday to go? Whatever day it was!
"Trees! Look, Malkia! Trees! There has to be water there, right?" They were very far off in the distance, at least a couple miles, and it was only a small cluster. Still, it was the most they had seen in a long while. At the very least, there would be some shade.

She went back to watching the cubs as the King and Queen came out, both their pelts ruffled from sleep. "What is it that you need, Aina?" King Kifo grumbled, his creamy pelt identical to his daughters was patched, making it look even worse because it was ungrooomed.
|| Malkia ||
She raised her head when Hamu said her name, seeing the trees she raised her head, running swiftly. It was a small oasis, barley big enough for them both to soak themselves in. She lapped at the warm water thirstily, before soaking her hot body in it with a relieved sigh.

|| Aina ||
"Hamu and Malkia are missing! No one's seen them since they went out yesterday!" She explained frantically, eyes wide. From the just a few meters away Tawi and Anina were resting together, the latter of the two sleeping. Tawi pricked his ears and jumped up, waking his queen and bounding over.
"Missing? Where did they go?"
"Malkia was going to show him the territory. That's all I know!"
Tawi and Anina exchanged a worried glance. Tawi stepped forward to address the opposing king and queen. "I'm assuming a search party will be sent out?" This was not his pride and he knew he could not make the call, but he would search for Hamu himself if needed.
|| Hamu ||
The prince followed more slowly, weighed down by his larger figure and stocky legs. Once he reached the oasis, Malkia was already laying in it. He wrinkled his nose, forcing himself not to make a snarky comment. Despite the lioness bathing in his drinking water, he was too thirsty to cared and lapped up for a good few minutes before laying in himself, rolling water to completely drench his pelt. How cool it felt! He didn't want to leave.
"Can we just stay here for the night?" He mumbled, shutting his eyes and resting his head on the bank of the small pond.

|| King Kifo ||
"Yes. Kilio!" He roared for his son, hoping his daughter and her husband to be were alright. If anything were to happen to her out there, he and Maisha couldn't protect her. She could do hardly anything for herself, hopefully she and Hamu could work together to survive.
|| Malkia ||
She nodded, though realized as she joined him a few feet away that he couldn't see her. "Y-yes...But we need to eat. And soon, i feel weaker all ready." She groaned as she looked at him in the corner of her eye.

(Sorry about my absence. I've been out of town all day.)
|| Kilio ||
Hearing his name being summoned by his father, Kilio stood up and walked over, raising his head once he approached the king. "Yes, father?" He asked, stifling a sigh. What could Kifo possibly want with him?
|| Hamu ||
They would only get more tired. "Might as well try to hunt now, then." Hamu grumbled, rolling over to his belly and sitting up. "There was no sign of prey the way we came from, so we should try continuing along the path we were originally headed to see if anything is ahead. We'll have to stay within a mile of this oasis so we don't get lost."

(it's fine, irl first, rp second)
|| Kifo ||
"Kilio, take a small search party out, your sister and Hamu have gone missing, and I expect you not to come back empty pawed. They need to be found, and quickly. Take some of both our pride and King Tawi's, we will need lionesses that know both scents well." He commanded, though his worry for his precious daughter was clear.
|| Malkia ||
"Oh, you don't expect me to come, do you? Someone needs to stay here and protect the water." She shrugged, though she really just didn't want to make a fool of herself because she can't hunt.
"Besides, you are strong enough to carry a piece or two of prey yourself, I'd only get in the way." She suggested, not wanting to use a to far fetched excuse, but not wanting to reuse excuses.

|| Kilio ||
"It's not my fault if we can't find her. We're not going to search forever." Kilio growled in reponse, turning abruptly and flicking his tail. "Aina, Roho, come with me." He ordered, setting off without waiting for the two. 'Maybe if Kifo is so upset about this he should be looking himself. Isn't that what a good father would do?' He thought bitterly, tail lashing. To his right Aina came like a lost puppy, eyes wide and scared.
|| Hamu ||
"The water doesn't need protecting. There's a reason lionesses hunt in packs, and that doesn't change for males. I need someone to help me, and you're the only option." Plus, he didn't want to have her blame him if he couldn't find anything and came back with nothing. Her smaller size would help with her speed; she was surely faster than him, so as long as she could tackle the prey he could deliver the killing blow easily.

(sorry for the delay in replying, I didn't realize you had replied, xD)
|| Roho ||
She looked up as Kilio called her named. "Must I go?" She groaned, but did as asked and followed seeing as he didn't plan on stopping to wait for her. She followed at his other side, looking down at her paws. "I hope Hamu is ok...well, Malkia too I guess. But if anything has happened to Hamu..." She couldn't bare the thought of it. They still had to run away together, create a pride. But then again, he was to wed Malkia. She was so confused about if she wanted him, or if she wanted peace with his pride more.
|| Malkia ||
"I don't want to come Hamu, what is so hard about that to understand?" She growled, stepping forward with a bit of her claws unsheathed. "I do not want to go, nor will I. Is that clear?" She snarled, her once bright eyes locked on his, full of aggression and hate.

(That's fine! I had a lot of roleplays to catch up to on multiple sites.)
|| Aina ||
Maybe she didn't know Roho well, but she could relate to her feelings at the moment. If anything happened to Malkia, Aina didn't know what she would do. Sure, Aina was a little overbearing at times, especially on feminine topics, but she could be serious, and she appreciated the conversations she and Malkia had. "They're probably sleeping in some cozy cave, doing what royal lions do and sleeping all day. Uh, no offense, Kilio."
|| Kilio ||
"Non taken." Kilio replied simply, speeding up now that both lionesses were beside him. The sooner they could return, the better. Stars, when he found Malkia she would get the talking to of a lifetime-- making him come all the way out here on some wild goose chase to find her and her prince.
|| Hamu ||
"What's so hard to understand about not being able to hunt by myself. I *literally* need someone else there to help. You must not be very hungry if you don't want to come. Plus, I'm not going to hunt for both of us without you earning your share." Hamu growled in reply, laying down again to show he wouldn't budge without her. He didn't have the speed or stamina of a lioness, he had strength. It would be impossible for him to even be fast enough to catch something, much less do so without wearing out right away.

|| Malkia ||
"Fine, we'll eat when you feel like hunting." She could survive off of smaller, easier to catch things. Mice, or fish if they came to moving water. She began grooming her now incredibly dirty and dusty pelt, glad she at least know how to do this.
She kept one eye on Hamu the entire time, though she would glance away for a few seconds at a time so itnwasnt obvious she was somewhat stairing at him.
|| Roho ||
"Can we slow down Kilio?" She asked quietly as her paws began to ache, and they had only been traveling for a few minutes. "My paws are still so sore and raw for walking and running for five days to get here." She said as she glanced at one of her raw pink paw pads.
