Name Meaning and Pronunciation

What made you choose your name? I wanted something unique. And I love Greek Mythology. So it fit well.

Does it mean anything special? Gaia, in Greek Mythology, was the "great mother of all."

Do you ever plan to change it (If so explain why)? Nope. Stickin with it.

How do you pronounce it? gay[ah]

Preferred nicknames? Nope. Just Gaia.

Do people call you it irl? Nope. My RL name is Taylor. Most people in RL call me Tay.

What made you choose your name? It's not that unique of a name, but it's short and a nickname I had in real life so it just made sense I suppose.

Does it mean anything special? Nah, it's just a shortened form of an old nickname.

Do you ever plan to change it (If so explain why)? Not really, I could change it to something more unique or cool but eh, it works so why change it lol.

How do you pronounce it? Pretty straightforward, just "o" with an m in front of it.

Preferred nicknames? It's so short I don't really need one, honestly!

Funny things you've been called? Common misspellings like "moo" or "mom" are pretty funny.

Do people call you it irl? Yep, that's where I got it originally.

What made you choose your name? About 5? years ago when I was rejoining Howrse every name I could think of was already taken. In absolute desperation I tried Aglet, and magically it was still available. It more or less comes from Phineas and Ferb. Recently I was awake at 3 AM and decided to change my name, I decided to go with insomniac because well I have issues with sleep, but when I added insomnia- to the name box it momentarily merged with aglet to become insomniaglet, I liked it so viola!

Does it mean anything special? Explained it all above. lolz

Do you ever plan to change it (If so explain why)? Eventually I'll go back to aglet, but for now I like having something more to my name.

How do you pronounce it? agg-let or in-som-nee-agg-let

Preferred nicknames? I have few nicknames, with the exception of Windspun who calls me Aggie (I sometimes call myself the same thing, but not often). Sometimes I get called Ag, but can't remember by who.

Funny things you've been called? Alget, which is just a silly typo but happens occasionally. For a while my keyboard didn't like typing the letter L so I was always spelling my own name Aget.

Do people call you it irl? I do in my own head, but no one else does.

P.S. my RL name is also Ashlie so *yay* another one ;)

What made you choose your name?
Well I normally go by the name Xoupia and that name was chosen by simply mashing some letters together. Very simple but it worked. As for the name Nashi.Sūpu, Nashi is actually my mascot/fursona's name but the name Nashi was chosen as an inside joke between me and my friend Aimee as well as the Sūpu part.

Does it mean anything special?
Xoupia isn't really special and there is a meaning being Nashi.Sūpu as it relates to a nickname my friend Aimee calls me. Feel free to try to work out what it means because I will not disclose it publicly haha

Well I never planned to change my regular name Xoupia to Nashi.Sūpu but I did because I got a little bored of it, though I do still go by it in some places. As for Nashi.Sūpu, I can see it sticking for a long time.

Xoupia is pronounced Zoo-pia and Nashi.Sūpu is pronounced Na-she Su-pu

Sue Heck is a character from the tv show The Middle, and she's like my spirit animal, lol. We're both dorky and awkward most of the time, and have terrible luck, but we don't let life get us down.

What made you choose your name? There's a rescue horse at the stables I used to ride at named Elfin Reign and I accidentally mispelled it Elven Reign when I made a character named after her which I just called Reign for short.

Does it mean anything special? The horse it was named after was rescued from a kill pen after being sent there for running through multiple barbed wire fences and the name sounds powerful so I'd like to think it means bravery, courage, strength, spontaneousness, etc.

Do you ever plan to change it (If so explain why)? I've changed it a few times and used multiple users on other sites but I'm not sure if I'll change it again on here. Maybe, but I still have a character named Reign and Reign's old design which I renamed Shiver and made the sister of the new Reign design.

How do you pronounce it? Rain

What made you choose your name? my real life name is Leah Morgan, so Leah is just my name.

Does it mean anything special? in real life, I got to pick my own name when I was adopted and I chose Leah. So it's special to me, personally. It's meaning is "tired" though, which I definitely live up to.

Do you ever plan to change it (If so explain why)? nope. it used to be Leah Morgan when I started out, but once enough people knew me, I made it Leah.

How do you pronounce it? lee-uh

Preferred nicknames? I've been known to be called Sunshine (one of my ex-boyfriend's nicknames for me) or Cookie (just a random nickname I got when I was really young) or Leah Bear (my dad's nickname for me) in real life, but I'd prefer if everyone just stuck to Leah.

Funny things you've been called? Ruby calls me Leahmur. but that's just her name for me.
