Falling off ...

No, not falling off horses. My special talent is falling of "everyday" things, such as stairscases or with wheelbarrows. Last one gave me a broken bone.

So yeah, I have this showjumping competition today (height is 60 - 90 cm) and I'm so smart to fall off the staircase. My elbow is bruised seriously now and it's getting worse by the minute. I reaaaally wanna ride, so I'm going to. But it's so stupid :')

What is the dumbest thing you have ever fallen off of?

I once tripped on pinecone and fell into a pile of sheep poo, but we don't talk about that. :-) (screaming inside)

Good luck with your show today!! ♥

When I was like 9...I had this gelding. He was an awesome guy. Very very chill (kinda miss him too). Well, one day, something had gotten up his [censored], and I have no idea what, but he just...BOLTED, full gallop...then...suddenly he hit the breaks....I went flying over top his head and landed in a pile of cactus. I couldn't ride for awhile because it took me a couple weeks to get all the damn cactus needles out of my back side. -_-' That wasn't my worst spill. My worst one was when my stirrup snapped when I was racing someone but that's neither here nor there.

My worst non equine fall...or rather most embarrassing...

My family used to take cruises once a year when the economy was better and we were all doin alright and everyone save my dad (retired military vet) Had a job...I fell off the gang plank or whatever when we were in port. Not into the water, but face first into one of the "greeters" whom was dressed in...uhh fairly revealing clothing. He was dressed in traditional mayan garb (we were in mexico a the time). I don't know if I should consider my self lucky or unlucky....cause he was fairly attractive... lol

I tend to fall off the ground a lot.

Auch that sounds really awkward x] I also cooled my elbow and it's fine now (expect from the bruise that is hurting x])

We placed 5th with one refusal, but that was kind of my own fault. I was telling myself to think of cake instead of the height, but the horse felt my doubt so he got really on the right side of the jump and I would never been able to get him straight over the jump or make the turn right without slipping, so I decided to lead him next to the jump. I did pass though, so perhaps next year I will be doing the highest round!

I fell off a teeter totter once. My cousin jumped on it and it jerked up and I couldn't hold on. I didn't even fall to the ground, I fell a good 3-4+ feet landing halfway on the ground and halfway on the hole that gets worn in from peoples feet. Awful.

I fell off the top bunk of a bunk bed. I landed sitting cross legged even though I had started head first. I heard a loud pop and second later pain flooded my leg. I had broken something in my foot :/ that was the second time I had broken that same foot, the first was due to a faulty baby gate. But yeah, I got thrown from a horse once because the stupid saddle horn broke (I stayed on for three bucks though so woot woot) and besides an aching hip was totally fine :)

But the funniest one was when me and my bro were getting snow/ ice off our metal roof, at least on the section covering the porch as we were afraid it would soon be to much for it. My brother had been jumping off onto the snow below a few times and my mom came out and had told him not to do that anymore. So I was shoveling further up and I saw him go over again and I remember thinking how that was wrong for him to do since Mom told him no more, when all of a sudden I felt the ice, etc beneath my feet move. It went over and so did I, giving out a scream as I did so. My brother and I are staring at each after that in shock and my mom opens the door all frantic and asks if we are alright. For some reason that caused me to start laughing and soon we all were. Neither of us were hurt so it was all good XD

My last day as a senior at my high school I had early release and helped a friend walk to her last class because she was on crutches. As I was walking out to my car after dropping her off at her class I tripped and tumbled almost all the way down the stair case... yeah that was a great memory of my last day. XD

I didn't know wood is slippery when wet and slipped and fell on my dad's plywood motorcycle ramp. Not very far, but the scar is still on my ankle!

I almost fell off a horse. I was riding a one-eyed gelding who was a push button pony and super sweet. This is when I took lessons for the first time, and I leaned too far forward while he was trotting. He tried to get better balance and tripped, I flopped forward and dangled on his side, arms around his neck and foot holding on to the stirrup. We never found the safety band that flew off xD
