finito! interest check

I sat down and instead of tossing my sketches at someone else... I'm working on actually doing something with one.

This is the second real bg I've done, so I know it's not phenomenal... and if anyone has any tips/ideas, I'll gladly take them. But this isn't on the critique board for a reason.

Ignoring how sloppy this thing is currently, how likely would anyone be to want one of these? I plan to base the horse as best as I can, and really take my time with it. I find myself a little bit proud of this.

i'd suggest adding some grass/cat tails to the water's edge, to separate it more from the ground. maybe some stones??

I did plan on some cattails! Thank you. :) Anf when I can get stones to look right I'm going to have them too lol.

I'm glad it looks alright so far, considering im completely winging it.

If I can't figure out how to make it look hallway decent I might add a frog or a fish near the horse's muzzle.

Thanks guys. I might try to fine tune the shading a bit, the more I look at it the more annoyed it makes me. Expect this up within the next few days.
