....Sigh why do I do this to myself?

s'yeah I had an image for a tag in my head, and so far? it's 100% spot on to what I wanted it to come out like.

This...this never happened before. I feel like this is a sign that I might actually be getting better.

Every year, I make the same resolution and never stick to it, but this year I have, and I'm even more driven than before. I need to work on things other than horses now, but, horses, have been, and always will be my passion. In both my real life and online life, despite being out of the saddle, and having a possibility of never being able to return. I've alwyas had a passion for art, and horses. Horses being my foremost passion, art just helps me express that passion, and the depression I feel for not being able to be around them anymore. It's been a relaxing outlet for me, now that I can't go to school. It helps me get out my creativity (if you can call it that. Im not THAT creative tbh.) It helps me express my love, my passion for equines. I was going to go into a creative career (hair) but, art has helped keep me from reaching the depths I used to go. I had Zelda, Star Wars and horses in the past. Now I just have my art, and Zelda when it comes out for the 3DS (cant afford the systems I want :/) and Well, now I have the new star wars to look forward to at least. But, Art has really helped to sinking back into those dark days.


annnd sorry for the impromptu peek into my life, but yeah lol. Anyways, I only wnated to share a tag in progress. Other than that? TY if you were kind enough to stck through it all! I just wanted to share this vision.

I absolutely love looking at your art.

When I wasn't able to be around horses for a section on my life (before I got my barn help job now x.x) I drew multiple horses everyday! It was hard, I did actually tear up when I drew the horses and did art at that time. Because when i looked at my sketches I missed being around those beautiful creatures in person. I have two sketch books to remind me of those days. Some of them were kind of sad, one I can remember from off the top of my mind was a horse that got caved in on and separated from his herd. At that point I also didn't have many friends, just EV, and that's how I felt. Separated from everyone.

Anyways, sorry for my rambling. Beautiful art ♥

and i feel ya on the art i started drawing horses and playing sims because when we moved states i couldn't go riding anymore and that was hard on me so i started doodling horses and then it has exploded into this super important part of my life ♥

Madoka, that's similar to what happened to me. I had to move to WA state for various reasons, I'd had plans to bring my horse up with me at a later date, but never could, I came back to FL, then shortly there after she developed chronic founder, to which when her bad days outnumbered her good days...it was time to say good bye. I'd not really been in the saddle since save for a couple of lessons a couple years after she psased, of which I had to give up because I was havign health issues there. So, EV, and art has been my major outlet, and is becoming a really really important part of my life anymore. More so than it was before (well, the art in any case XD, but I love EV too, don't get me wrong!)


Sno, I am glad you felt comfortable enough to get that out! It's a relief to be able to vent about things like that. I am also very happy for you that you're able to be back in the saddle yourself! I have a LOT of my very old sketches stashed away too. I often go back and look at them because it does help remind me, in some weird way, abotu what's important to me.

And, here's an update on Le Tag! It's getting close to done!
