zodiac horses (project wips)

since i have another thread where i showcase my latest finished works i didn't feel like i could throw this on there since i am going to be working for a long time on this project.

the ultimate goal: to complete these zodiac horses to make a 2017 calendar :D

the monthly goal: complete 2 drawings a month (12 in 6 months)

capricorn - goat horns and sea tail
element - earth
breed - gypsy vanner? ignore the breed on the pic lol

aries - ram

taurus - bull

breed - andalusian
color - pink


leo - lion
element - fire
breed - mustang
color - gold


gemini - twins (reflection in the water)
element - wind
breed - warmblood
color - green
(rose petals flying in the wind)


pisces - fish
element - water
breed - akhal-teke
color - seagreen


working on the other signs.

what do you think, critique and any ideas to incorporate.
taurus is my fav for right now, what is yours?
my sign is virgo so i can't wait to sketch that one up c:
