First manip!! opinions please!!

So I just started this and I only have one horse on it, there will be maybe 4-5 horses. I want to know what you guys think and would you buy it(I know it's not done but yea)
I hope you guys like it I may be selling when it is done!

Honestly? The BG image is poor quality which reduces the quality of the image. The colored lineart on a normal BG isn't my style since no blending or anything is actually done, it's just colored and slapped on there. Which, in my opinion, is not considered "manipping." The horse is also very small, and you could remove the credits on the horse since you put them in the corner here cause that's distracting as well. I personally would not buy it, cause I feel like there is minimal effort and could use a higher quality BG image, which you can find on DA, to improve it. I would love to see you use REAL horses, to make it more realistic and bump up the over all quality.

What do you mean real horses? How could I get some? I would love any way to improve! :)

Like in my manips, REAL horses. As in images of real horses. Going on Deviantart.com and looking under resources and stock images category and typing in "horse" you'll see endless supplies of horse stock.

Stock images on dA. That's where everyone gets bgs and horses for their manips. Though you need layers to color accurately and make them look realistic.

That I can use for free? Or do I have to pay? I have no points so yea I don't know what to do??

Do you pay for the linearts you get off dA all the time?
Most stock say they're free to use but the artist often requires certain credit. Search it and read, you'll figure it out.

I would suggest Venomxbaby as your first stock provider. You just need to read rules

Ok thanks for your help. I'm just not sure, I kinda want to make a not real looking one cuz everyone else doesake them look real xD I like to be different I will try different things and see what happens :D
So technically I can use the horses on there but not the backgrounds?

You have to cut the horses out, and people do realistic, cause it's what people prefer

Oh ok how do I cut it out? I'm not really sure how to do that

Look through these. See if you find something that helps. You have to keep in mind though, most artists use photoshop, gimp or some program similar

I'm using autodesk sketchbook is there any other thing I can use on my phone, I don't have a computer
