Lol my life

I dropped my transit card on the skytrain tracks because it was between my phone and my hand, and somehow when I went to get on it slipped out the bottom. So then I didn't get on, and I couldn't find transit people and I snuck back out the gate behind some people, and used the emergency phone up on the main level cause I couldn't find anyone up there either. They sent someone to help me get it back and he had to get them to turn the voltage off so he could hop down to get my card between trains. At least it fell to the side and not like right on the part the train passes over?

And now I'm finally back on the train and actually going home. AHHH.
Also this girl just got on and is sitting in front of me, and being escorted by a transit person. I'm guessing they're helping her because she smells like vomit :s

Oh the perils of public transit! 8) That's good that they stopped the electricity and retrieved the card, even if your commute home took longer than usual. In my city I've seen people jump down into the track area to retrieve iPhones, transit cards (less likely), and once an umbrella. It's not pretty when someone mistakingly touches the electric part. :(

Haha I was so gutted omg, it literally fell out of my hand and between the small gap of the platform and the train. Just my luck, really.

I thanked the guy that helped me and he actually thanked me for not trying to retrieve it myself lol. So I'm guessing it must happen here too. People are so silly! Phones I can kind of understand because they're more expensive to replace (though you still shouldn't be hopping down there), but umbrellas are pretty cheap... Those warning signs aren't just for decoration!

edit: typo
