Back from Holiday

As you can read from the title, I have just arrived home from France. I have been away for a week, I enjoyed France though unfortunately so much rain even though when we first got there it was hot and sunny.


I got to France by the Channel Tunnel, it was my first time and I liked it, better than the Ferry and will probably go do the Channel Tunnel again than the Ferry, the tunnel takes about 25 minutes whereas the Ferry takes about 2 hours. They also, make sure to put you on the first one on if they can. Like today, when we got to the tunnel we had 15 minutes whereas we would of had to wait for another hour for the next.

We didn't do much apart from, going to the swimming pool, have a bike ride, I was going to do horse riding. But sadly, they closed but I am not worried since I will be riding tomorrow.

It's so hard for me to imagine living so close to another county. lol Since I live smack in the middle of the USA the nearest country is ~12 hours by car or about 4 hours by plane.

Hey! I'm glad you got to enjoy France despite the rain. :) I've taken the Channel Tunnel before, it was surreal to say the least. The idea of an enormous amount of water above my head gives me the willies (I may have been ruined by the Final Destination movies). Do you travel elsewhere?

Thank you, for the welcoming! insomniaglet, this is my 3 or 4th time going to the other country, I mostly have done it by Ferry, so I am sort use to long travelling and I have never been over to the USA, but I hope some day I will visit over there.

Ducky, yes France is a nice to go even though I had bad weather. Yes, I do travel to other places, I have been to Spain, Egypt, Lanzarote, Morocco, Netherlands and that is all the places I have been to outside the UK. My favourite, place though is Lanzarote, it is such a nice island and it is so interesting with the volcanos over there, lol I never thought of anything like that well I did, when I first got on it if it was a good plot for a horror movie lol. But, the thing is it is like the plane but you too low that your ears go.

I've only been to New Zealand and Australia (and the USA ;). I hope to go to Canada in the next few years, seems silly not to visit Canada when it is (relative to other countries) so close to the US. I'd love to visit Europe one day, but that isn't in the foreseeable future. *sigh*
