Love The Results!

So I have been back to breeding my horses again. I have changed my breeding program a little bit, as I am now breeding for the dun gene, instead of roan. Specifically dunalino, as I found it extremely hard to find one for sale, as there are only 14 dunalino quarter horses on this game right now, including mine.

So over the past 3-4 weeks I have altered my breeding program, ended up getting a dunalino stallion, which was great. Then I got a cremello, which was great too. But then I got another dunalino stallion! So now I have 2 dunalinos and 1 cremello stud, that will hopefully be my long term breeding studs.

Then last week I used my dunalino and cremello to cover 25 mares. 4 of those mares foaled today, and one gave me a dunalino mare! I am so happy with the results that these horses are giving me. Which makes it even better, is I have a homozygeous red dun mare that I will be breeding to my cremello, for a garenteed dunalino EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Along with 5 other red dun mares that I own.

But as of right now, I own 3 out of the 14 dunalinos on this game. None of them will be offered for sale, and none of my stallions will be offered to the public, but I do sell geldings, and the occasional mare (however foundation mares go up for sale all the time).

I don't want to be a downer, but there are actually close to 60 Dunalino QHs on the game. With ~14 that are unlocked and the rest are locked up on various player accounts, including Windspun's and Frosted Mint's who both own quite a few.

I hope that doesn't change your plans, as Dunalinos are gorgeous and will sell well. But I thought I'd let you know so that if at any point Frosted or Windspun unlocked their accounts you wouldn't be surprised at the sudden increase in the number of Dunalinos.

That doesn't change my plans at all! I still love the look of them, and will be breeding for them for a while, if not permanently.
