Restarting - Opinions Wanted

i dunno how many of you saw, but i recently posted a "rant" thread about loosing all of my work

i was wondering

should i start over?
and if i do, should i start with only foundation horses, or buy some or get some from the rc?

Personally I would buy some from the rc as it's cheaper than buying from the store and you can take your pick of the horses. If you can't find enough of your chosen breed in the rc then just finish off your lot with a few stores of your own.

Personally, if I was in your position and I REALLY loved those horses (which it seemed like in your rant), Then I would start a foundation herd (mostly from the RC if there was any I liked, then the store) and slowly raise the money to buy potions to revive the deceased herd. Whenever I had the money for the deceased herd, I would revive and lock them until the rest of the herd was revived.

That way, you still have horses to play with, and you can slowly earn the money over time to revive the other herd without demolishing the bank account. This also adds more horses to the herd in case you start to run out.

I accidentally bought...four (I think) foundation horses from the RC without even noticing, lol.
Along with a pair of non-foundies.

How man other foundation pairs should I get by the way?
And you can revive now?

I personally like starting with a number that will eventually breed down to 1.

So... 4, 8, 16 or 32. I usually start with 16 because it's a nice big number I don't have to worry for a few generations but not too many horses I would get annoyed with.

And you can revive horses with the Spectral Draught (Revive your deceased horse! You can only do this if they died under the age of 22.) The problem is they cost 5 EVC each, which if you're trying to do a herd, builds up rather quickly.
