So, this whole week i haven't been feeling well. Everything that I try to eat makes me feel awful, and so I haven't been eating anything, so I'm starving, and extremely tired, but everything that I eat makes me wanna throw up. My dad says I'm not running a fever, and I don't think I have the flu, so that's good.

Maybe try some other foods that are easy on the stomach and will give you some more energy, like apples and bananas. I hope you feel better.

Thx. (: I'm watching videos that have food challenges in them to try to encourage me. Dunno if that is working or not, lol.

I went through this awful anxiety phase where my digestive track decided to just disagree with anything I can eat. It got to the point where anything I ate was an acheivement...

A little while back my son & I got a terrible stomach virus. We didn't have fevers either but we had a hard time keeping food down. We tried applesauce rice & toast. My son also drank Gatorade which helped him. (I can't stomach Gatorade when I don't have stomach problems.) I drank tons of water. We spent 2 days in bed we were feeling so weak. I hope you start feeling better soon. (Food shows only made us more nauseous. Try cute animal shows or cartoons.)

I wouldn't CHUG water but I'd try to keep track of how much you're drinking and constantly drink in general so that you're staying well hydrated. If your stomach is upset taking in too much fluid may exacerbate it. Sticking to something like the BRAT diet might help too (bananas, rice, apples, toast) - they're bland things. Oatmeal could help too. Plain popcorn could help as well. I'd stick with bland and just try to slowly eat. Taking an over the counter medication like pepto or pepcid may help as well to try to settle your stomach so it can tolerate food.

Maybe something like chicken noodle soup may help? Making sure to drink lots of water is good, though. Don't literally chug, per se, that might make you throw up--just drink regularly, like maybe try to schedule a small glass of water every 1-2 hours if necessary. Sodas may help with energy if you're okay with drinking soda. I don't think caffeine would be good, though, so go for things like Sprite or Fanta, or just aim for fruit juice. You could also probably be able to stomach most fruits, so try oranges, berries, etc., but I'm not sure about apples since they're a little more on the solid side...although you can try. Don't eat an entire apple/orange/etc. in one go, though--eat a little, then wait, and if you're okay, then you can eat a bit more. Eating too fast may make you feel worse. And avoid heavy foods like meats, etc., for now, too.
