Well.. (I'm Back)

I just wrecked my dad's '08 Prius. The thing looks like it is totaled. Now I'm stuck at a Burger King in the pouring rain waiting for the police to come and get a report. However apparently I'm the fifth person to wreck today and that means I'm on a waiting list. No one was hurt and I didn't hit anyone else, but my day is ruined.

I need some cheering up right now, so please post some good things that have happened to you today. :)

Also I may be locking my account this evening, I hope everyone understands. I'll be back on the 31st to deal with the contests for the QH club and other things, but yeah.

Glad you are okay! Umm got to see the Beauty and the Beast trailer (though depressing thought is that it doesnt come out until March of next year, sigh), so that was good :)

lol, sounds neat maybe I'll use some of my waiting time to watch some trailers.

oh bummer! i would be cursing out of the wazoo right now if i was you xD i just hate accidents cx a couple weeks before our wedding one of my moms neighbors decided to plow into our car parked on her street, i was like greatttttt. but the good thing was that since my car was parked and no one was in it i didn't have to report it as an accident to my insurance and her company paid for it all (,: but so stressful to deal with right before our wedding.

anyways there are a ton of movies coming out soon that you should watch trailers for thats what i do when i want to wind down c:

yeah bummer, honestly I'm still in shock a little.

at least we had full coverage on the car and the insurance will pay to replace it.

the internet at this BK is awful on top of everything else

Oh no! Wrecking a car, even if no one was injured, rattles even those with wills of steel. :( Glad you're ok!!

Highlight of my day so far has been saying hello to all the dogs while taking Baby Ducky for a walk this morning. There's a St Bernard in the neighborhood I want as a fluffy pillow. Oh! And I spotted a hummingbird pre-caffeine and almost sprayed it with carpenter bee spray.

I love hummingbirds, good thing you didn't spray it :)

The worst part is that I have to rent a car and drive another two hours before I reach my destination; I'm not sure if I'm gonna have the mental strength to do it but I don't really have a choice either.

Car accidents are horrible. :(

I was in one last July, I was hit in my drivers side back quarter panel. The guy had the nerve to try and blame me for it, even though I was going straight not turning or anything, just cruising along. Still scared the daylights out of me.

At least you have a place to eat and go to the bathroom if necessary, as well as food and drink! Would be a lot worse if you didn't. x)

The BK I'm in just lost electricity. I don't cuss typically but it is tempting right now. This stupid storm is making today awful. Thank god for smart phones with internet connection.

I'm so sorry to hear about your accident! I am glad no one - especially you - was hurt. Storms are just the worst to drive in. I hope you reach your destination safely.

So this is good news from 2 days ago, but I'm still happy over it. Our 12 year old female dog Piper had a couple of accidents in the house. Normally she's extremely good about telling us she needs to go outside so we were worried something might be wrong. Turn's out she's just getting older & her body's not always telling her fast enough for her to let us know. We've lost 2 beloved dogs to cancer so a diagnosis of "she's perfectly healthy, just old" made my week.

Oh no!!! I totally dislike car accidents. D: I'm glad that you are okay!!! ♥ *huggles*

If it makes you feel better a deer jumped out of nowhere when I was driving with my friend today, and we got it on video (if i can figure out a way to post it I will). But it's okay the deer was fine (I didn't hit it, though it got as humanly possible to the car without being hit). No one got hurt and we were able to laugh about it once we saw the video and realized everything is okay.

I hope you're doing better now, please update us :D

I wanted to start by saying I love you all and thanks for the amazing support through this incident. I'm finally back home (I've been down south for the memorial holiday, which is where I was headed when I had the accident) and everything is settling back into its normal routine.

Also on a positive note my dad is fairly certain that the car isn't totaled and that the insurance will pay to have it repaired, rather than replaced.
