I love the news updates! I always get excited when the notification turns up. I wouldn't mind if the news updates were small and frequent instead of large and less frequent.

If news updates were more frequent, it will probably lead to less excitement because they would the "norm." Just like if holidays were everyday, they would be less "special."

I think you should add things like a farm where you can have crops or livestock to make money because right now it is a struggle for me to make money and way too easy to spend it. So I think you should add a farm like that, kind of like the one from horwse.

i've been MIA for a while so forgive me if i'm being ignorant or missing a recent important game update; what really attracted me to games in my teens (and still does even though i don't have the time anymore) was the competition and the exclusiveness competition causes. i was far from the casual player though i know accessibility to being casual is extremely important as well but you need to grow the dedicated user base that drives up quality horses and the economy before you can grow the casual user base that can benefit from it.

I very strongly support the idea of breed-specific competition, as well as something along the lines of breeders' sweepstakes. Those sorts of things are actually ideas I had wanted to present for consideration in regards to clubs (which I know is something I said I'd do quite some time ago - list up my suggestions to get people more motivated to be active in the clubs - I'll get to it, I swear, ha).

I really wish that there was a better way to make money outside of the art community. Very broad, but I can't think of anything specific.

^ I like the idea of having a human character/avatar that we level up. We sort of have something similar with player levels, but we could expand on this with the introduction of stats or skills. And with every player level we could get, say, 5 or 10 stat points that we can distribute amongst our character's skills. Skills could be things like:

I really like what you said about the jobs and having that turn into bonuses. I also like the idea of just not having an avatar so that the stats and skills are what is prominent.

I'm sorry if someone already mentioned this, but I'd like something to do with our foals. If I remember correctly (I am old so...) there was at one point mention of them being able to be trained. If that's no longer feasible, perhaps they could be used in the Riding School instead. It just seems a shame that for the first 3 years of their lives our horses can only gain stat increases from being given treats. Thank you!

Agreed. I'd like to be able to show them, to be honest. In real life, many shows will have in hand foal classes. Maybe set it up that the foals can only enter one or two shows per day. While it's not a lot, it'd at least give them something to do rather than being lumps that just eat food for 3 weeks.

I agree with that as well. Are conformation shows coming back? That would be one way to show them. Or how about some sort of "in-hand" type show? Breed-specific? Discipline-specific? Something that takes suitability in to account (which would require the foal have a set discipline, which I know some folks don't do right away)?

I'd like to see breed shows, but there would be the concern of there potentially not having a lot of entrants. Maybe two types of in hand: conformation and showmanship. Conformation would be judged on horse conformation, obviously. Showmanship would be based off of stats.

I like that idea a lot - conformation and showmanship. Perhaps even sets of each for both foals and adult horses (separate for each, I mean, so foals are not competing against adults). But even just for foals would be fine. Adult horses already have plenty of ways to gain stats/points/earn money.

Perhaps foal-specific breed-specific shows could be run by the clubs, kind of like the current club shows? Maybe one show per day or something though, rather than the once a week that I think they run now. Encouraging well-bred foals of each breed seems like the kind of thing that would fall under the purview of the clubs. (Though I don't think it should be restricted to club members; just by the appropriate breed.)
