I have been leisure riding my horses for a couple days and none have gained any stats from it. Did they take that away? And if they did then what is the point of riding other than falling off your horse and finding treats?

I got a stat boost yesterday on one of my horses.

Rewards do seem much rarer than they were on the original EV though, yeah. (both treats and stats)
