In a land not too far away lives people that have gifts. They can change, change into what you ask? Animals, what kind is for you to find out. Each child is born not knowing what animal they will be bound to, at age 10 they go on a quest to find there animal. They go into a forest(not a dark scary one as you may think) and search each in his/her own way. Once that animal is found the child can transform into that animal and that animal only. BUT there are rumored to be a few that can change into any and every animal in the world. No one has ever seen or met a person that can do such a thing. Who will they be, those special people?
Maggie was a special girl. She was Special Bound. She could change into any animal, her favorite was felines. That is why her ears were perminantly pointed like a cats. She was only loyal to one person, Anastasia who was the queen. She stood her ears swiveling as she heard many sounds of the forest. She grinned her golden eyes spotting the queen on her daily walk through the enchanted Forest. Maggie ran over her silver armor clinging. She put her bow on her back next to her arrows. Her dagger stashed in her boot. She bowed lightly, " Good morning my queen," I said.

(Maggie is her nickname right, not her real name?)
Anastasia turned around, smiling at feline-human friend, "Good morning Mag Pie." She nodded slightly, her crown tipping a bit as her head moved. I picked up my gown and moved it over a root, so I would not rip my dress. Anastasia too was special bound, one out of only 4 people in the world who could mutate into any animal at wish. She was grateful for her gift, the gift had helped her in a great deal of situations. "I wonder where Erik is?" Ana questioned herself curiously in thought. "Maybe he's at the palace? Or maybe he's on a walk somewhere else?" the various thoughts continued to pass through her mind.

[Erik]
Being king was not easy. Many thought it to be a luxury to be king- powerful, rich, and able to do whatever. That was so inaccurate. He could not do whatever he wanted; if he displeased his people, uprisings and rebellions and coups would start, and such was something undesirable. Being king was stressful; more so than he had ever imagined. If there was a problem in the kingdom, it was his responsibility to sort it out. Once a week, he would sit in a grand ballroom as persecutors came forth to accuse another of some meaningless crime, and Erik would have to determine a fair and just punishment.
Of course, there was more than just sitting in on trials to being king. A plethora of responsibilities, to his kingdom, his castle, and his wife.
Erik sat, then, gazing out mostly rectangular window that curved into a point at the top, making it sort of an elongated, rounded pentagon. His queen had gone out earlier, he had been informed, and that was fine. They were equal rulers, and she could do as she pleased without needing to inform or ask him. Likewise, he would not seek her permission to move about where he wanted to.
The new(ish) king was uncertain about his wife. It was a betrothal, so he had no say in their arrangement. She was not unpleasant, but he could not say he loved her. Erikiel was a very formal man, as many knew, and he had courted her traditionally, as his father had expected him to. She was a close friend, of course, and he trusted her more than anyone else, but love was such a strong word.

Anastasia left Mag Pie politely after a short chat, strolling down the path towards the palace. Flashbacks of Erik courting her and their wedding flooded through her mind. It was a traditional courtship, as was custom and the wedding was like any other royal wedding. She had to admit she liked Erikiel, she even had a crush on him once, but she never had a feeling of love for him. It didn't mean she couldn't love him one day, but at the present she didn't have that state of emotion. Somehow I felt that he felt the same way, but I could never read his mind. He was always formal, something Anastasia had gotten used to. But part of Ana had a informal side, making her wonder if Erik did too.
She shook her head, a bright smile gleaming on her face as she imagined Erik in a simple tunic and dancing at one of the peasants' dances. When Anastasia was little she could remember her sister slipping away to those dances, something her parents always disapproved of. I had wanted to go with her but she always told me to go back to bed and don't tell Mother.
I soon realized it was about time to have tea, causing my stride to grow longer so I could get back to the palace faster. Anastasia walked up to the palace doors, the servants opening the door before she could reach the handle. She gave them a thankful smile, nodding to them slightly and walking to a small dining room meant for tea.
